Rainforrest Cafe, so good!

We decided to eat there just because it would be fun, but was surprised to find out the food was all really good! It was more expensive than our character breakfast though. Wow, that's a lot of money for one meal. (kids ages, 16, 14, 12, 8 make the food bill climb )

FYI: We ended up going on a different day than we planned because of the weather and the place was totally empty at 5:00pm.

Ayup...when a simple lunch approaches $50 and the food tastes like it was sitting under a warmer at McDonald's for 3 days, one has to ask themselves how much that atmosphere is really worth.

We usually eat at the RFC on our AK day. We have always enjoyed it, and the servings are huge so we split. We never order a whole meal for our kids so it doesnt end up costing us too much more than other meals.

We too tried it on our AK day. We started with a breadkfast and loved it! We will do this again.

We have a love-hate with RFC. We love the atmosphere, but the prices are waaay too high. Especially for food that is mediocre at best, although we adore the Volcano dessert.

Something must have changed with this restaurant/corporation. The food at the Rain forest, as well as all of the other restaurants under the umbrella of this Houston based food service corporation has allways been average at best. Have eaten at the Rain Forest at Animal Kingdom as well as one in the Dallas Fort Worth area and the only aspect that has exceeded expectations, is the quantity of food served. The quality has always been fair at best.
