Hi again!

I am thinking about a rainforest 1 day pass butI was wondering if it is so crowded on a sea day that it isn't worth it. I'll be on a 5 night double dip but the sea day is really our only free time.

Also, if I have a PAT of 11, should I plan to arrive at 10:30- 10:45 so I have time to park and though security, etc. Approximately what time will I board?

For ticketed M&Gs, should I show up early? Will I really be there for 15 minutes?

Thanks again !

I'd be curious as to this on a Nassau day as well. That's my plan as we aren't planning on getting off the boat at that port.

Boarding - The port opens around 10:15-10:30 for new arrivals. The terminal opens at 10:30. If it's busy, and you arrive prior to your selected Port Arrival Time, you may be asked to wait until the terminal is less busy before you are allowed to enter.

The boarding number you get at check in at the port is tied to the PAT you selected.

Boarding typically begins around 11:30 with Concierge guests, followed by Platinum Castaway Club members. Then boarding numbers are called, approximately every 5-10 minutes, depending on how quickly the line is moving.

With an 11:00 PAT, you're likely to have a fairly low boarding number (I'm going to guess around #6-10). And your boarding number will probably be called around 12:00, or so.

Once the boarding number being called catches up with the number being issued at check in, Open Boarding is announced. Anyone holding any boarding number may board. This typically happens around 12:30-12:45.

We did the Rainforest Day Pass on the Fantasy. I can't really say how crowded it will be for you. The good news about the sea day is that you might have a variety of times you can come, so if it is crowded at one time, you can come some other time. We (my wife and I) skipped the show on the last night, and that gave us time to do it, plus it wasn't crowded then. We were there for a couple of hours, and really enjoyed it.

As for the M&G's, they say you can show up about 5 minutes, prior to your time. That is what we did. The first one, towards the beginning of the morning, had little line at all and we were done in less than 15 minutes. The second one, the line was a bit longer. Ours were 30 minutes apart, and we definitely could have done them closer together, but I don't think they permit that.

My wife hates sea days for the Rainforest Room. It's packed and not relaxing. She tends to spend half of CC day in the Rainforest Room, and a lot of times we go into the ports, piddle around for a couple of hours and then go back to the boat so she can get more time in the RR.

I'm sure it'll vary by the length of the cruise, but when we did the 7-day Wonder a few months ago, I used my 1-day pass on Nassau day. It was dead in there! Another woman was in there part of the time, and I was otherwise completely alone. I guess a lot of people were doing all-day excursions.
