DH wants to go to the Rainforest Cafe..... so my question is...

Animal Kingdom or DTD??

TIA

Mel

We have been to both so I would think which one you go to would really depend on your plans for the day/evening. If you are at AK that day then you could go to the one at AK as it will be easier. If you are somewhere else and are wanting to make a night of it then there is more atmosphere at DTD and you can have a wander round the shops.

Also if you are not driving or staying on site might make one easier to get to than the other:)

I prefer the AK one but may be because we went for lunch it was a lot quieter and just have better memories of the place.

The DTD was crazy busy and felt a bit rushed.

We are staying onsite and are on the DDP. The reason I asked was whether to look at booking it on the day we go to AK, then we could go there for lunch.

We none of us liked rushed and crazy, and would plan lunch at AK or dinner at DTD as our 2 options.

We much preferred DTD, we did dinner at both in November/December and found at AK we felt really squashed up and service was slower- we also found the food nicer at DTD :-)

I think for lunch on the day would be quiet easy. That's what we did. We had the place to almost ourselves.

We did a Tusker House breakfast and then had dinner at The Rainforest Cafe at around 5.30. It wasn't too busy and we weren't rushed.

Do you have to go into park and use park ticket at the AK one?
