Rainforest Cafe

We are thinking of going to Rainforest Cafe in DTD the first night of our trip. Does anyone know if it is the same (decor wise) as the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom? Also how is the food?

I believe ALL RFC are same set up and I have been to three of them........
The food is okay/good, not great and IMHO overpriced but its the atmosphere that many people return for. My ds insists we visit each trip but we visit the one in DTD, which by the way takes advanced dining times if you call them direct.
Have a great trip! FUN place to eat, especially for kids, though sometimes real little ones do NOT like the noise/sounds/actions. It is a LOUD stimulating place, not quiet at all.............

My family LOVES this place for some reason, food is ok, atmosphere is good. We have been the RFC in San Francisco, Dallas and Orlando, this time just to break it up a bit we are trying the RFC sister restaurant T-Rex, it sounds actually cool……….

We always do the RFC at DTD, it's a tradition for us.

We just LOVE the volcano dessert - one dessert is enough to share for all five of us.

They seem to have the same decor from what I can tell. If there is a difference, it is slight. We love going there and our youngest child is 18! So, in my opinion it appeals to adults. I haven't had anything bad there but I think their hamburgers are very good. DH and DD agree.

I have been to the one in DTD and AC and it all looks the same. I love the atmosphere.

There only differences is that WDW-Dining Cast Members can not make ADR's for the location at Downtown Disney Marketplace, so you would need to call them directly for a reservation. However they are able to make ADR's for the location at the Animal Kingdom.

We love RFC! Try the Bambas chicken wrap. Very yummy!

They are all the same. Give the T-Rex a try in DTD, it's really cool. Same Concept as RFC but with a dinosaur theme
