How do you like the Rainforest Cafe? Are they basically the same, the one in AK and the on at DTD? Looks on the pricier side, is it definetly worth it? Food good? Drinks?

I saw on their website they have family night on wednesdays with discounted kids meals I think - is that true of the 2 in Disney? I sent them an email but didnt get an answer to that question.

yes, the RFC is the same at both AK and DTD (we've eaten lunch at both) - we like the food, always seem to get the same (crab cakes, pot roast, crabmeat stuffed shrimp) - we have the safari club card, too, which helps in getting seated faster!

Whats the safari club? Im assuming its something you have to pay for?

DH & I ate at the Animal Kingdom one just last week. We shared the Mozz Sticks appetiser & the Pepperoni Pizza. We also had the Raspberry Lemonades to drink. All was very good & it ended up being pretty inexpensive.

We love the DTD Rainforest Cafe. Make sure you make ADR's by calling them. The kids just loved the rainstorms.

Creative menu, interesting atmosphere, fun place to try at least once. If there's a RFC near your home town, they're all pretty much the same.

My family and I always go to the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney Marketplace because it's one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. Plus the service and food has always been great.

Also at the Downtown Disney Marketplace location you need to call them directly to make a reservation, however at the Animal Kingdom Lodge you can make an ADR threw WDW-Dinning.
