Does the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom accept the dining plan?

Thanks in advance for the answer. :)

Hi Ashley!

One thing is if you (or anyone) decides that the want to pay OOP for Rainforest, is you can get a Safari Club membership. It's $15 and you have to join at the restaurant, but they will mail you a $10 off coupon when they mail the permanant membership card (and a $5 one each year). Then, you can get either 10% (food and merchandise) or a free appetizer. Also, you get seated at the next available table.

You can also use the card at Joe's Crab Shack and a few other places owned by Landry's.

We actually had that card when we lived in Florida and right when we moved to Northern Virginia. Then the Rainforest Cafe near our house closed and our membership lapsed, because if you don't use it for a year it expires. :sad2: Maybe we'll try to eat there for lunch and try Boma for dinner, or maybe we'll eat there one night when we are at Downtown Disney just for the Caribe Chicken! yum!!

I have heard that you can call and they will renew your card. I don't know for sure, since I haven't done that, but if you want to try you can call 800-552-5235 ext 5235

thanks for reminding me - haven't used the safari club card in a while, don't want it to expire - now we're going to have to eat at the RFC this weekend at the mall in south jersey - the sacrifices one must make....
