Rainforest Cafe

Okay...so we are a party of eight eating at the Rainforest Cafe. Should I call and mention that my nephew is celebrating his 8th birthday while we are eating there? Do they have a cake?

The Rainforest Cafe offers a desert called the "VOLCANO" which is a huge mound of fudge brownie, chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream then topped with a lit sparkler. There is enough to feed three or four (we share this between three of us). If you have 8 to feed just get two of these deserts. Also (saving the best part for last) they make a BIG DEAL in the restaurant everytime one of these deserts are ordered. Your server will go screaming through the dining area..."V-O-L-C-A-N-O"!..."V-O-L-C-A-N-O"! and then all the other servers will start to scream the echo of this as well!

We had the volvano last year for a friend's birthday and if you are full the dessert can feed 11 easily. We were all so full from the entire day of eating that one was enough. We had started the day at CM. I only had a snack for lunch and the other paryty was on the dining plan so they had lucnh. We only ordered appetizers for dinner and we still only had one volcano for the group and we hardly finished it.

No, just the Volcano dessert. You would need to order a cake somewhere and bring it there. If they know it's a birthday they basically just give you a small cup of ice cream.
