Rainforest Cafe or Pretzel and Ice cream?

Our original plan for our evening shopping at Downtown disney is to eat from the Pretzel stand and then go and have an ice cream at Ghirardelli. However i have been thinking of going to the Rainforest cafe instead. We love the theme of the Rainforest cafe however we have found the food is a bit hit and miss. We will be at the Magic Kingdom in the morning and plan to have breakfast at Mara (at AKL) and lunch at Pescos bill. We plan to arrive at downtown disney between 5:30pm and 6pm. So do you think we should stick to our original plan or give the Rainforest cafe another try?

I agree that the food is hit or miss but I love the theme too. I would say since you cant make ADR just see how you feel when the time comes and then order something they just cant mess up..
