Rainforest Cafe gift card @ T-Rex?

I read on the Rainforest Cafe wed-site that you could use their gift card at T-Rex as well. Has anyone ever done this? We are planning on going to T-Rex this trip and not Rainforest. Also along the same lines: can you use a Build-a-bear gift card at Build-a-dino.

When I was shopping for gift cards at CVS last week I noticed a Landry's card that could be used at RF, TREX, Joe's Crab Shack, and several others. Since RF and TREX are both owned by the same company, I would think so. Try calling TREX directly and check just to be sure!

Yes, you can use your Rainforest Cafe gift card. We used ours last year to eat at T-Rex. We got it as our cashback bonus from Discover Card. It says on the back that it can be used in any Landry's restaurant and we had absolutely no problem doing this last year! We are planning on doing the same thing again this year. I actually just received our gift card this past week.

Not only can you use the rainforest gift cards, but if you are a Safari Club member, you get the same discounts. If you are an annual pass holder you may get discounts as well, so ask which one will be better for your individual order.

Another perk of purchasing the Landry Gift Card, you can use at the Yak & Yeti as well. We get ours with points from My Points.

No annual pass but we are going to join the Safari Club to get the discount. You can't join on-line so we will have to visit the local Rainforest Cafe' (for us that is Atlantic City) at some point this summer
