Rainforest Cafe coupons or discounts?

Can you use the coupons along with a gift card?

I've managed to earn 2 of the $25 gift cards from mypoints (I booked 2 hotel stays through travelocity, sent flowers for a funeral, and bought regular stuff I would have bought anyway off ebay, made a target purchase that I would have made anyway, etc. all through mypoints - it does add up fast if you do your shopping through them.) I'm close to earning another 2 cards, and if I could get a couple of coupons that would be awesome - I might be able to feed my extended family for "free" on our trip in May!

The gift cards work like cash. So yes you can use the coupons with them.

Rainforest gives a AAA discount. I think it's 20%. Also, try going to breakfast instead of lunch/dinner. Breakfast at RC costs a lot less and the food is plentiful and excellent. We're big eaters, yet we can share a breakfast pizza or tonga toast (massive french toast platter) and be totally satisfied. Hope this helps!

I know this is a really old thread, but I'm wondering . . .

If you have 2 or 3 gift cards to Rainforest Cafe, can you use them all for the same meal, or must you use them at 2 or 3 different times?

Can the Rainforest Cafe gift cards be used at any other Landry restaurant or only at Rainforest Cafe?

Also, I'm thinking you cannot make ADRs for Rainforest. Right?

Appreciate your help! I have some mypoints I'd like to spend, and we could use these in December.

I have made ADRs for Rainforest Cafe at AK in the past.

I don't see why you can't use more than one gift card at a time. They are just like money.

Thanks for the coupon. I am actually surprising my son with a lunch at the RC next Friday for his 4th birthday. We'll be at WDW the 15th-19th, and he's been asking to eat there for over a year. I made our ADR's and then found the coupon. AWESOME!!!:cool1: Thanks again.

I just made an ADR for Rainforest Cafe at DTD yesterday...we'll be there in a week and a half.

You can definitely use several gift cards at one time to cover the cost of your party's meal.

I don't know if you can make ADRs at the RC in Animal Kingdom, but we have made reservations at the one in Downtown Disney, which is a good idea because the place is always packed!

Thanks, everyone! I am so glad to hear you can make ADRs! I've heard how busy they can be. Also, it's great to know you can use two gift cards at once.

Now, does anyone know if their gift cards can be used at the other Landry restaurants, like at T-Rex, maybe?

Two questions about Rainforest Cafe (never been before).........

Do I make my ADR's through Disney Dining? We are staying at Bonnet Creek, not onsite.

I just read in this thread that they give a AAA discount (20%), does anyone know if that's true?

Another question............I was reading reviews on tripadvisor and I noticed one review said they spent $200 for their party of 5 and another said it was about $30.00 per person. Is it really that much for burgers, fries and a drink? I was budgeting around $125 plus tip. Do I need to up that amount? We are a party of 7, but I bet my three 10 year olds will eat off the kids menu if they can.

Not sure about the 20% AAA discount. I know they offer Safari Club members 15%. Those that wrote the review must have all gotten ribs and steak. If it is sandwiches and wraps you are going for, it won't be $30 a person, but if you get ribs, steak, or seafood dishes, it will add up fast.

I'm not aware of a AAA discount, and I doubt that there is one. We visit Rainforest Cafe regularly on our trips and I have AAA, so I've really been missing out if there is a 20% discount! The Safari Club discount is 10% (or free appetizer) unless it's changed very recently.

I'd say most chicken or burger entrees are $12 - $18 and a soft drink is $3. Portions are huge and DH & I share which keeps the costs down quite a bit!

I think the food is average, the service is usually average (though last year it was gosh awful) and the prices are typical for our area (NY)...
that being said....
we go each year, why, you ask?
My ds insists..... it is a tradition..:cool2:.so, now I purchase Landrys gift cards ahead of time (so I do not get annoyed at marginal food that should be less expensive) and no out of pocket:rotfl:.
I know of no discount and they did not take AAA last year, perhaps that changed though....:confused3
The atmosphere is what is fun,:cheer2: the rest....I can do without...:rotfl2:..........OH, they take reservation times if you call the one in DTD now, MUCH better :thumbsup2than other years, where you'd wait and wait for your Safari to be called...........
