Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom or Boma

Hi Guys,

You have all helped me so much so far with trip planning and picking our table service meals, so thank you. My next dilemma is having to choose between the Rainforest Café at Animal Kingdom or Boma. My kids are 8 and 5 year old twins. They have been to the rainforest café there already and we all loved it.... the food, the atmosphere, the animals, etc... However, I've read such great things about Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge that we would love to try it. It would also be kinda neat to go look around that Resort as we have never been there. Which do you like better??? Help!

We've been to both and when it comes to food....BOMA!!!! We loved, loved, loved it. It was nice to get different types of food and flavors that we cannot get here at home. (Small town) AKL is beautiful and the kids can see the animals on the savanna either before or after dinner. Rainforst Cafe has a great atmosphere for kids but I think you should give Boma a try!

We eat at both every trip these days. Boma is very nice and has a good variety of foods. The servers have always been very good. The atmosphere is bustling and the theming is wonderful. We have three breakfast ADRs there this trip. I have one at RFC. DH likes the Eggs Benedict and I plan on splitting the large portions with my parents. My MIL is looking for forward to RFC breakfast next May. She is already talking about it.

Both are very pleasant experiences, but if I had never been to AKL I would have to take the opportunity and do that one.

I would absolutely pick Boma. Great food and you can experience the beauty of AKL

We were just there and went to both places for dinner. I'm literally craving Boma now that we are home! RFC was fine, the atmosphere was good and the food was ok, we just really loved Boma. And we decided this trip that the buffets are best for us. You get to try more and it's so much quicker. RFC was slow......
