so we have reservations for 2:30 pm at PFC and I am wondering do you think we could just get appetizers and be good? I have the menu printed and it will be or 1st day there...we will be driving from Carslbad {only about an hour south of Anaheim} and will probably get there early enough to get in the park and enjoy some morning park time {at least that is the plan!!!}...so I was just wondering about the appetizers? there will be 4 of us..2 adults and DD 15 and DS 7....just want DS to get the experience of eating there...

Do you mean having appetizers to hold you over until dinner? I would say yes. In fact they have a few really good app's there that you could all share. The meals are fairly large (portion wise), so it may be perfect for you. Plus you get to enjoy all the ambiance at RFC. Have a great trip!

PS We just spent 4th of July weekend in Carlsbad to escape the heat here in the Inland Empire. We enjoyed it very much. It is amazing how overcast and chilly it is at the beach compared to ten miles inland.

yep...we are just thinking about something to get us over until dinner and get the ambiance at the same time:cool1:

We have very often split an appetizer plus a salad or entree for our family of four. We have so many favorite places to eat at Disneyland that in order to get them all in, we sort of have to graze our way around the place! RFC has a thing called the Awesome Appetizer Adventure. It has a nice variety and we will generally get that and a China Island Chicken Salad . Between the two things (bear in mind the Appetizer Adventure is quite large) we have more than enough for the four of us (me, dh, ds13 and dd11). In fact, if we are just going for the atmosphere, we'll get the appetizer thing alone. Although now that my ds is a teenager, we generally have to get something else as well!

RFC has been a favorite of our kids since we started going to DL about five years ago. They love the food, the atmosphere and the gift shop (which often has reasonable clearance priced items).
