Rainforest Cafe AK reservation time?

AK closes at 6 pm the day we're going. I thought it would be smart to make a 6 pm reservation at Rainforest Cafe so we could maximize park time. However, I'm worried about having enough time to catch a bus back to our hotel. I know the buses run 60 - 90 min after the park closes, but we're going in September, so the parks won't be super busy.

Would you change it? If so, what time would you suggest?

I don't think you would need to change it. We've always gone at 5 when the park closed at 5. It will be empty when you leave but there has always been a bus. If he's the only bus there he'll just ask where to and take you. Never had a problem.

Disney won't leave you stranded There should be buses when you finish, other a CM will arrange one for you. If anything happens, go back inside the restaurant and they'll help you

If you really want to maximise park time, I'd make it for a little later if you can. You have to check in approximately 15 minutes before your reservation so you would need to start heading out of AK by 5:30pm, depending on where you are
