I'm even later than you Connie! Hope you had a great time at the game Ginny. I miss going to football games. I was at the same middle school today as on Monday, but I had 8th graders today. I knew some of them from last year and they kept asking if I was going to the game (I guess the middle schoolers play before the high schoolers). I didn't go. When my kids get into middle or high school, then I'll go...when they don't want me to!

Dee, your little trip sounded fun. Sometimes it's nice just to get away.

Good evening to everyone. I just got home from the game. We lost 37-13. We scored our 2 touchdowns in the last 3 minutes of the game. We should have started a little earlier. We had fun. The school we played is where our new coach came from. He took them to state the last 2 years. He wanted to move back down here cause that is where his family all lives. A really nice guy. He is also working on getting Austin in a college about 30 miles from here as a football scrimage player. It is a Baptist College and has a good reputation. He feels he would get scholarships too with his grades and volunteer work he does. ( He works with Special Olympics). So at least he has a few options out there.

Austin played well and sacked the qb once. In the 3rd quarter a kid on the other team pulled him down and he did a flip over another landing on his back. They had to stop play till he got up. Then he sat out 3 more plays before he was ok'd to come back in. He said after the game that is back was really sore. He'll feel it tomorrow.

Heather enjoy the practices. Been there done that. It's something you have to do when you are young.

Lisa, I hope something can work out for Hunter and football. I know when it is something your child really enjoys you hate to see them not get the opportunity to do it. Have a good day.

Thanks for the well wishes on the vacay. Wouldn't you just know I'd get sick right before we leave? I was hoping it was just allergies, but I think its a full blown cold. My ears are even popping from all the fluid in my head. Great.

Oh, well! I'm gonna take it as it is, GIVE IT TO HIM, and move forward!

Sounds like a few others on here and FB are having some issues with it, too, so I know I'm not alone.

School is good, my math teacher insists he gives us an hour of homework every night, including the weekends :[
LOL, don't worry I won't tell them :]

But, what I figured out is that my math teacher LOVES Disney!

8th graders every year are supposed to take the 8th grade field trip to either DC or Charleston but because of the economy we don't get to :[ So my math teacher told us he is organizing a trip to WDW next Summer for us!

Thanks for the kind comments Dana. The boys did have fun. Parents go down on the field and have the group hug. They all came off smiling. This coach is really good. Austin said at practice Thursday night the coach had all of the boys with a tear in their eye. He is very emotional but in a good way. He is a good Christian man and in his own way relays to the boys. He also does not yell at them so much in front of everyone so not to ruin their self-esteem. That is why Aust quit after his freshman year. That coach was just mean.

I threw the shoes away for sure. So far so good. I am going to see my PCP next week and see about my ear. It has been stopped up for some time. I don't think that is the whole issue but it probably needs checked.

I hate that the team had a loss but at least they scored.

Austin's coach sounds like Hunter's coaches. They are all good Christian men who use encouragement to help the kids....not putting them down like some coaches do. That's why we like for Hunter to play for the private Christian school. I sure hope they work something out where they can assemble a team this year.

I hope that Austin's back is okay today. I am sure he is sore but if he's like Hunter, he can handle it.

If you don't get to feeling better, you really do need to go see a doctor. And that's an order.

It has been a very quiet day for sure. I cooked dinner tonite and Austin's friend joined us. He's a really nice hard working young man. Aust really picks his friends well. I think I had said on your thread that I had a really busy day tomorrow. I want to leave work on Tuesday around 1 so I need to get everything done to leave and miss on Wednesday. My boss has been grumpy this past week. He will be moreso tomorrow cause he was on call this weekend. That always puts him in fowl humor. He'll get over it but I will sit in my office and avoid him till he needs to sign checks. Aren't I bad? I think we have everything planned for Sheri on Tuesday afternoon for her surprise. Sandi is bringing things to decorate her room and all kinds of objects to wear. I will get lots of pictures. My camera is in my purse alread so I won't forget it.

Sorry you've had rain. This was our first weekend without in a long time. It did rain Friday nite driving to Rolla but when we got there it had quit.

While Aust was here for dinner I gave him $45.00 and told him and Josh to go anywhere they wanted but red lobster would be good and he should have enough. His mom puts $50.00 in his bank account each week for gas and food. She is good to him too. He wanted to work but Sheri said he needed to enjoy his senior year and not worry. He has worked summers his other years. He is ready for baseball to be over. He is first in his fantasy league and up for the $350.00. He says he will either buy a larger computer monitor or a new tv. He bought a tv a few years ago with his own money.

His friend Josh has to work 30 hours a week to pay his truck payment, insurance and cell phone. School, football and work doesn't give him a lot of free time. Sheri and I are not fond of his mom. She doesn't help him at all.

I shall go to bed. I have to take Andrew to school at 7, Princess to the groomer at 8 and be to work at 9. Shall be a busy morning.

school has been hectic. senior year what can i say. my last year and they got to do block scheduling. its ugh!! im happy to be back because its my last year sooo thats a good thing. i did start my TR but really havent had time to get in day one or anything. ill try to do that either today or tomorrow. hopefully. hope everything is going good for you all.
