Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

I didn't even notice the cheerleaders, but now that I have, I have to say this (and I SO hope it's not taken the wrong way), but I LOVE that not all the cheerleaders are super super skinny. So many times it seems like talent is overlooked for looks and it's nice to see that this doesn't seem to be the case here. :)

I so agree with you Heather. There are people of different shapes and sizes and it should never hold them back from what they want to do.

For some reason, it hit me that I had missed your Jedi Training post. I am so glad that Alex finally got chosen. It's just heartbreaking to watch their faces fall when they don't get picked. Hunter didn't even want to try this year. :confused3 I guess he figured he had done it once so he didn't have to do it again.

I doubt Alex does it again either. It's like a lot of things in life. You've done it, it's over. I'm so glad our boys got their chance. So now we have to work on Dallas and Will getting in.

Have a great day.

This is EXACTLY why I want Will and Christian to do it this time. Especially Will. The grow up so fast and outgrow things so quickly I'm afraid they won't want to do it next time (this is also the reason why I'm going to go ahead with the Pirate League this time-I just don't know if 8 will be too old for it). They are only going to be 8 and 5 next June, so they will probably still be interested, but you just never know.

Good for you. Just make sure you have something for them that really stands out. Either clothing or a sign. Get there early so you can be down front. I don't think it matters if you are left, center or right. But be close. And remember one may get picked and the other not. Just hope it is Will the first time. He might be crushed if Christain gets chosen first. They generally don't pick too many younger children because of them being a little more shy when they get up there and don't follow direction as well.

I asked for your help on your thread.

Wow. How did you know it's Will that would be so much more upset if he doesn't get picked? That is definitely his personality. Christian would probably just blow it off, though he'd be upset for a minute. For my picture taking purposes and our planning purposes, I really hope they get picked at the same time. If not, we can try again. Thankfully, Christian looks a little older than 4, but he's obviously not 7! LOL We will be bringing something. A shirt, a sign, maybe both. Not sure yet.

I'm headed over to my thread now. ;)

I think that is a normal first child vs. second child. Sandi was Miss Perfectionist and would do and redo til things were right. Sheri just would go with the flow. Things would bother her but not to the point it would ruin her day. Now Sheri is the OCD girl and Sandi sorta just let things ride. Depends on what it is. She is still that way at work.

"IT"S ALIVE".............:lmao:. I'm still here. I have been busy at the farm and shopping :rotfl:. Catching up though.

Still getting caught up. Left off on page 36. Love the "Beverly" pics and the pics around the world. My camera was acting up but one of my DD's took some pics that hopefully I will get to see one day if she finds time to put on Photobucket.

School tomorrow.:rotfl:I am more excited that my girls.

Weren't they funny? I really got them all good. You will notice I was the passer outer and picture taker. No way was I going to try it.

How old are your daughters and what grade will they be in?

I had a few cruise pictures that some wanted to see so I had some spare time this evening.

This first one was when we first boarded and we were having "the drink of the day" Of course the boys had virgin drinks.

Austin's best friend Joel. We love him. He got a black eye at a wrestling meet the day before we left.

We had a great time with wonderful weather. We want to take Joel to Disney. He would have such fun.

I have lots more but just wanted to give you a peak of our week.

Great pictures Ginny. Great memories. We want to take a cruise someday. But we want it to be a Disney Cruise and of course that means $$$.

Someday, though.

UGGG. I'm not sure if I've mentioned Will and the "girlfriend problem" on my PTR yet. Probably. He has literally had a girlfriend every year in school since he was 2. I'm not exaggerating.

At 2 it was Lindsey. They were inseperable. I have pictures.

He didn't go to school for more than a month at 3 (it was right after Christian was born, so I was home anyway).

At 4 it was Zoe. She was in the PreK class across the very small hall (there were only 2 PreK classes at his school). She also went to the same church. One night after Awana, she kissed him good-bye. On the lips. Her mother was the Awana teacher.

In Kindergarten it was Madelynn (Maddie). He talked about her almost from day one. I have a picture of her from the Christmas party. In April, when they went to the zoo, I was the chaperone for the only co-ed group in his class. Maddie was in our group. When they got off the bus and lined up, they were holding hands.

Last year, in 1st grade, it was Alyssa (still haven't figured that one out, Alyssa is a bit of a ditz-no offense). In February the bully in his class threatened to "kill" him. In March the bully punched Will in the face (because another a little girl in the class insisted that if he wanted Alyssa back, Jeremy had to punch Will). Obviously Alyssa perferred Will. Eventually Jeremy was moved to a different class. Yes. Punched in the face. Over a girl. IN FIRST GRADE! There were also two other girls I heard about in another class. Hannah and someone else. One time when I was in the cafeteria having lunch with Will, they were turned around from their table talking to him.

So far this year I haven't heard much. He did come home the first day talking about Michelle and Isabella who were both his girlfriends (ironically, Isabella was in his PreK class). But I haven't heard much since then. He mentioned Alyssa when I was having lunch with him on Thursday (Alyssa is in another class this year-I don't think Jeremy came back to Will's school at all) and I told him ABSOLUTELY NOT. I never really make a big deal about the girlfriend thing because it's still cute, but there was too much trouble over this girl last year. That same day at lunch two little girls went out of their way to walk past his table out of the cafeteria. One of them kind of tapped Will on the arm as they walked past and I'm pretty sure I saw giggling. I think it was the same Hannah as last year (she seemed sweet).

All this trouble (well, not so much trouble) and Will is in 2ND GRADE. He's 7! I'm afraid of what's going to happen in a couple of years. I know the boy is cute (so is his brother, come to that), but he's always been girl crazy, and the combination is eventually going to result in a :headache: for me!

Oh, I almost forgot. SEVERAL girls put their phone numbers in his yearbook when they signed it-in KINDERGARTEN. You just have to :rotfl: when your son has phone numbers written in his yearbook with the numbers written backwards!

Okay, I'm glad it's not just me. Mitchell is in DAYCARE, four years old. Ashley, whom he's gone to daycare with most of his life, is two years older than him. Well, she's been in school and just got out of kindergarten, but she came back to daycare for the summer. She came back sweet on my Mitchell. Then there was Emma, same situation. She became sweet on Mitchell only b/c Ashley was. Mitchell had a different girlfriend everyday. One day, Emma would tell him she was his girlfriend, but Ashley didn't know that. Mitchell just went along with whatever they told him to do.

But everyday, Ashley would walk out with Mitchell and give him the most gentle hugs and she even kissed him a couple of times on the cheek and they got in trouble for sitting too close on the couch for TV time one day. Oh, my goodness! The things that I have to look forward to!

Now that Ashley has gone back to school, Mitchell still thinks she's his girlfriend and he even told me he wants to marry her. And come to live with us, of course. I remember when he used to want to marry ME! :sad1: Oh, well!

Ginny: I really enjoyed your pictures, especially the cruise photos. My favorite is the family portrait "dress up night". I think it is absolutely wonderful that you can all travel together like that and get along so well! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Little boys and 'girlfriends'. Too funny. I don't miss those days at all. It is just as bad as little girls and 'boyfriends'.

I bet in all the hundreds of pics we have taken together over the years we are truly happy to be together. I will pray it stays that way. Family can be so important. I don't want my girl's to end up like me and not liking their mother. It would break my heart if I ever did something to make them that upset. I would do anything possible to make it be right instead of just continuing to live your life like my mother has. Too sad for her. I've managed to enjoy my life.

Oh, Ginny: I cannot imagine you doing anything to upset your daughters, in the first place. In the second place, it seems to me that you have such a wonderful relationship with them, that anything that you may have done to upset them, could be worked out with just a few words.

I haven't talked to my mother in about a month. She'll call, give me her pity story, and then I won't hear from her again for another 6-8 weeks, or longer. Then she wants to give me the bull-crap story about how much she loves and misses us. Whatever. :sad2:

That'll never happen to you, Ginny! Don't let that fear hold you down!
