Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

LOL! the one you wrapped it up with!!!
Boy, some of the pics you can really see how your girls have so much of you in their features...

They sure do. When they were young Sheri was the spittin image of her dad. Sandi looked enough like him that people would say you are Don Pruitt's daughter. So go figure.

It is true that Epcot was pretty much about Austin. The final day at DHS (see I said it right ) is all Alex.

Poor Andrew didn't get a real day of his own. He is just a kid that goes with the flow. He so enjoys watching others have fun and he makes his own fun around that. He is the sweetest young man.

What refreshing pictures to look at on a rainy Friday morning! I just wish I could be there, right smack in the middle of Epcot!

Love the belly shot of Austin! :rotfl2:

Ginny, I absolutely love the group shot. You look so happy. The other pictures are pretty but the group shot is my favorite.

We have sunshine today:yay::yay::yay:

If you will look closely of some of Austin's pics above his right eye he has a patch of white hair. It has been there since he was about 14. He was the only boy at 6th grade graduation shaving. By the time he was in middle school playing basketball the other teams would ask the coach for his birth certificate because he was 5"11 and shaving. The poor dear. I was pretty white headed by age 22 but my brothers were both bald by 22. I feel I was the lucky one.

I think that I too would like to be at Epcot right now. Or MK, or AK or even MGM. Ok, I just want to be there. :rotfl:

Lisa, I was so happy. Just put me with my babies and I'm all good. And I laugh a lot. My husband always said he could never argue with me cause I would just start laughing. I'm amazed he didn't use his travel kit of duct tape and benedryl and shut me up.:rotfl2: You are one day closer. You lucky girl.

Yay for sunshine! We've got two more days of it, from the looks of the forecast. Boo.

Yeah, I'd rather have white hair, than NO hair! Wow, shaving in the sixth grade. That's amazing! Children mature so much faster these days than they did when I was young.

I wish I could laugh during an argument. I get so mad at DH sometimes, not often, thank goodness, that I have to leave the room or risk hurling something at his head. Since I'd rather not do that, I just have to leave. :rotfl2:

One of the things my mom taught me when I was first married (this was before she got the favoritism gene) was you have to make yourself happy first and love yourself first. Cause if you don't no one else can either. I would bend over backward and do every little thing Don asked because I was so insecure. So I learned that lesson and it was like WOW. He didn't hate me or threaten to leave because I found my voice. If anything it made the two of us stronger. Of course when you marry at 18 and 20 you have a lot of learning to do. What the heck, I still do. Ask Don. :lmao:

Oh, I remember those "bending over backwards" days very well. I worshiped :worship: the ground DH walked on for years. I finally grew up and grew a backbone as well. DH says he likes it better that way! Now, I tell him what to do! Hee, hee!

I'm still insecre about my parents, somewhat, but I'm working on that, too! I'm much stronger now than I used to be, so I'm getting there. :goodvibes

Why is it the people we love the most can hurt us so much? Not all parents want their children to become adults because they lose that control.

You are doing very well with your DH and that darling Mitchell. You can see it in Mitchell's eyes when he looks at you. Never saw a pic of your DH so can't comment.:hug::hug:

You're so sweet! You know, you can go to my FB and check out the Disney 2008 pics. DH is on there from that trip. He HATES his pic being on FB, but he'd be even more mad if he knew I had it out on DIS.

I have seen them now that you mention it. It wasn't a real close up view like "in your face" :lmao: But I'll check it out again.

I was married at 17 to be 18 in two months; Danny was 20 to be 21 in two months. Our b-days are 14 days apart. When we argue -- we argue and most of the time let it blow over with one or the other giving in...to say either of us ever gave into the other that would not be the case...we have had alot of rough times because he i very quiet but just as head strong as I am... And we can honestly say we grew up together and many times we grew apart with the realization that we needed to find the us many many of times...I really think had Ashton not come along that by the time Dayne would graduate we would have started to go our own ways...although I say that --we were in the stages of starting to plan 'Our" life without the kids; the mach I mustang, the two seater car I was suppose to buy last year (but got Ashton two years before--which I much prefer), our trip to HI (was suppose to be in 2006--haha again Ashton changed that plan), our trip to yellowstone...well you get the picture

boy am I rambling today...gone find something to do with myself...the radar says it is raining here but I don't see any might take the tots out to play...
Have a great day and weekend ladies.

I know for a fact you would take Ashton a million times over an old car or trip or anything that can be bought. I was gonna have a 2 seater convertable but I made us move instead. From a house paid for to a mortgage. What was I thinking. Now I'm trying to get everything paid off so we can retire in 2011. But if a baby were handed to me right now I would love it and just take it as it comes. When Sandi couldn't have children I was all set to be a surragate for her. So was her sister. That didn't work out so well either. As Ashton gets older and it only the three of you there are many places you can go. It really isn't that much higher for three rather than two. We know he doesn't eat much.

What I would give for a "surprise" like Ashton!!! :littleangel:
you'll get your surprise; pixiedust:hopefully on the TN vacay!!!!pixiedust:
the thing is you are just starting a family; we thought we were finished not starting all over...

But, it's all great!!!! can't imagine life with out him...:yay: pixiedust:

Hey, I sent you a PM with DH photos. The last one is the morning that we left for Disney World. They were half asleep! And you can tell, hee hee!

You just keep sending me all of that Pixie Dust and I'll keep my fingers crossed! :cool1:

I can imagine thinking you're done and then "SURPRISE!". And HI and two seater cars and things like that get put on the back burner. Even though you have your sweet boy, I can see being slightly disappointed that it didn't work out for the other things. :goodvibes

Got em. I can see where Mitchell gets his good looks. Really nice pics. I thought Mitchell looked a lot like you till I saw your DH. Yes, the love for his family shows in his eyes too.

We were not to say disappointed;although every time someone would ask me why "I" did that--it made me sooooo depressed./I would cry for days... if the shock would not have been so bad I would have told people we planned it....we will just be hot ridin' around in the mustang for a very long time...we keep cars unitl we just can't do it anylonger:laughing: as for all our dream trips; their coming...the older two are on the way to being on their own w/in the next three to five years and we only have 12 yrs left to pay on the house...

things change, we adjust, and I really believe Ashton was sent to give me another Angel to love...;)

Mel, you will get your little angel--it's coming soon; I know it....

Connie, you know to treasure that gift you were given. You guys aren't old yet. You'll have lots of time to fulfil other dreams or allow a different dream to guide you. We keep our cars the same way and with retirement getting closer I'm torn whether to get now or wait till right before. I think Don may have to do something next year on his. Darn our luck. My mother in law just bought a 2009 Impala. Maybe I can convince her to give it to me since it will be so long before she can drive.:lmao:

Don and I love to travel and that was our big dream. Go somewhere in the winter months but have our home to come back to. I'm still hoping that maybe we can afford to go for a couple of weeks in the winter. Of course I want the beach and he wants the desert. Who will win this one?
