Rain, Surprise Birthdays, Rain, First Visits -(Ginny is deceased-Prayers for her.)

When I last left we had finished at Epcot and went to dinner. After a fine evening meal we get back to CSR in time for rain. So we girls have a visit while Mike and Tim go find a place for an evening beer and cigar. We girls all had margaritas at dinner so we were pretty happy at that point. Don enjoyed the peace and quiet in our room with his lonely beer and chips. We had decided we would sleep in and hit DHS around 10:30. We would have a light lunch as we had reservations at Hollywood and Vine at 4:30 for the Fantasmic package. This was our only chance to see Fantasmic and we were very anxious to see it. When Sheri went last time they got there late and was not able to see it. So this is the first time for all of us.

The very first thing we did was head to TOT. Mike really likes this ride. I knew Don would not do it. What surprised me was that Alex didn't want to either. So Don, Austin and Alex sat and waited for us.

I must say. I loved this ride. I who am so afraid of heights? And can't stand elevators! I got to sit in the back row which was probably good. So there the six of us sat in a row. Andrew sat next to me and kept me posted as to what was next. Good thing too. Of course when the window opens it is random so he wasn't exactly sure when that would happen. I so didn't care. I tried really hard to get a picture of looking out and seeing the Mickey water tower but I couldn't hold the camera still enough for laughing so hard. When I have fun I have fun.

We come off that ride and I'm up for RNR. As a matter of fact I am hyped for RNR. Don and boys were eating ice cream cones and we made plans as to who would ride.

The first time Austin was with me, Sandi and Tim together, Alex and Andrew together and Sheri rode by herself. I wasn't sure how I would do on this ride but I was ready to give a try. Well, I thought TOT was good. This rocked. It was so totally awesome. I cannot believe I really said that. But WOW. I did have my eyes closed the first time I rode so I did not get the picture. Mike refused to ride because get this: "He was turned upside down so many times before on it, he hasn't been right since." I informed him he hasn't been right on a lot of things and it was long before he rode RNR. :lmao: I am the evil mother in law.

We then decided to head to Star Wars area and see when the Jedi Training Acadamy times. That figured out we decided to ride Star tours while there.

After a little Star Wars fun. (Austin, Alex and I love Star Wars) we headed over to this:

They were out of FP's for the ride so we sat for a bit and cooled off. It was hot and humid. No rain just yet.

We then mosey over to this attraction?

We head over to Indiana Jones but decide we need a light snack so we stop for hot dogs. Don has wanted a hot dog since we got to Florida. But couldn't find a hot dog and had to have a corn dog instead. I had a frozen coke which was good and cold.

We got into the Indiana Jones show with about 10 minutes to spare. They were not overly packed and we got decent seats.

We tried every way we could to get Tim picked since Mike had been picked for the Laugh Factory show. No luck for us.

I hate to say it but while watching Indiana Jones it rained. So what else is new? And what would one expect?

Will continue on next post.

I have not read your TR yet:sad2:. Just when I started a few minutes ago I was interrupted by the phone...ready for this...

it was the vo-tech...I had just received another e-mail from our local school board for me to call this one lady; I answered by saying that I had called and left "this" lady two msgs already and left a new msg for student services today! I sent it back to the lady at the school board and to the President of the vo-tech system.

Well, the lady I was told to call (that I had already left two msgs for) was apologizing for not calling me back(do I hear a good chewing out that just occurred)...well, Dayne & I are going on a tour of the campus of his new vo-tech Monday @ 1:30 and they are going to FIND a way to make it work for him to attend:woohoo:

I just hope he likes it and appreciates it after all of this:scared1:

now back to the important matter of the TR:dance3:

How totally awesome. That is such good news. You will tell Dayne he is going to like it or else aren't you? Or he can find a job to pay for the other school so far from home. He'll do it. I think your children have learned from you what is done for them and appreciate it.:banana::banana:

It was so funny cause Don wanted a hot dog at MK, AK and Epcot. Never got one. He did finally get one on the last day. Trust me. He found other junk foot fo fill up on.

Great update, Ginny! I'm SO PROUD OF YOU! :woohoo: You rode RnR!

Did ya'll go to Casey's COrner in the MK? They have some seriously good hot dogs there! You know what's funny? In March, I wanted Corn Dogs (BADLY) and all I could find were hot dogs! :rotfl:

I was anxiously awaiting an update and you delivered. Congrats on riding both ToT and RnR :thumbsup2 The pictures came out really good and everyone looked like they were having a great time. I am getting very excited about our upcoming trip now!

The girls passed their physicals yesterday and needed 2 shots. Meghan had a melt down in the Dr's office. She got so worked up by it and when it was all over she said, "that wasn't that bad". Told ya

Great update Ginny! I can't believe you did ToT and RnR. I LOVE RnR, but I am not a ToT fan. I've done it a few times and am terribly afraid I'm going to have to do it this time, but hopefully Will and Cole will chicken out. I think I'm going to tell Christian he can't go anyway (but I really don't think he will want to).

Here's my problem: I seriously have an undiagnosed anxiety disorder (I'm really pretty sure I do, but I won't even go get it diagnosed). I don't mind the drop at all, but the whole lead up to the drop makes me so anxious that I'm just about sick by the time we get TO the drop. Up, then down, wouldn't bother me so much, but I get so scared waiting, I just can't do it. I know. I have problems. But I have always said I would do it one more time when both boys could do it and we could get a family picture. Just kinda hoping it's not THIS time (Christian is at least 42" tall-by Disney rules we can all ride).

I forgot you guys were there during Star Wars. I'm thinking we're going to have to go to that next year (even though it will be HOT).

Great pictures. Especially the one of Alex. :thumbsup2

Dinner's here. I gotta go eat. Be back later. :)

I still do that when I know I'm getting stuck:lmao: when they came to put my IV in when I had Ashton & Dayne the blood shot clean across the room I had worked myself up so much:rotfl2:

Heather,I know what you mean about aniexty I can't even ride Splash Mountain so you know I don't ride ToT and RnRc the aniexty that I work up before I even get to the ride makes me so ill...I do however love BTMRR.
Still havenot figured out how they got me to white water raft...the guide on the second day laughed at me until HE fell out of the raft:lmao: I was so anxious the second day that my enitre body was shaking uncontrollably...

good update Ginny :thumbsup2 your getting me really excited now!! been gone all day shopping with family. yes we still didnt get everything done until today. bad DISers we are. :lmao:

Glad they passed. Last year Austin was on accutane and had to have blood work every month. Now this is a boy just like his grandpa. Passes out at the sight of a needle. He sure got over it quick. Now it's not a deal. Andrew had to get a tetanus shot and while there he got the menningitis/hepatitis one. You have to have those by college but now he's good to go.

Aren't kids funny and the things that bother them.

I loved the rides a lot. I amazed myself.

I am going to finish day one at DHS tonight.

I can fly fine cause I'm enclosed and I think that is why I could do it. We have that same ride at Silver Dollar City and I can't do it because it is outside and I can see what is happening. I know Don and Austin can't do it at all. Of course Don can hardley do any ride. It's the motion thing for him.

That was just bonus that it was that weekend. We are so glad it was. We all had a ball. The good part will be on Day 2. But it was a good ending. I will fill you in completely before you have to go. I think my Alex is just so special. We didn't think we would ever get him. I love adoption.

Don and I went to see The Hangover tonite. OMG what a riot.

I hope your trip is totally awesome and you get to ride every ride. Think of me on those coasters. Let us know everything when you get back.

Shots don't bother me me a bit. I used to do my own allergy shots. And of course blood work every three months.

Anxiety is a terrible thing for sure. I have been known to make myself absolutely sick to my stomach on certain rides. Don't even think of sending me to Pikes Peak or the Sears tower. I rode the cog train to the top of the peak, got out of the train and walked to the gift shop and waited for Don to finish looking. At Sears tower I got off the elevator and stood by it until everyone was ready to get back in and go down. My family laughs at me. I always said God made me only 5'3" for a reason.
