how much are these cheap ponchos from the dollar store? or at walmart?
i cant get to either one so i am asking my father to track them down for me
Need to give him as much info as possible-
do they come in sizes? kid sizes?

thanks

I always buy them at the $ store. They cost 1$ and there are two ponchos in a package. The ones that I bought are yellow and clear, they are a one size fits all. I really like them better than the ones you buy at WDW. The size is small enough to pack easily and you can carry them in the parks easily. Plus they are cheap. I have never bought the from Wallmart.

And the good thing about getting them that inexpensive is at the end of the day you can throw them away.

You can get them at Target or Kmart, in the camping section. They usually cost around $1 each. They're great because they're in a small package, easy to slip into a fanny pack, backpack, pocket, etc. Once you're done, throw them away!

Academy had some for .99 but they were very thin and disposable. I saw some others for around 4.00 or so and they sell them at the parks for about 6.00 I seem to remember.

thanks to all- my dad picked up ponchos for $1 ea at Kmart. He never called with any questions so they must have been easy to track down
are they too big for small kids?

I just bought some at Big Lots (not sure if you have those wherever you are! :) ) for $1 each. But I need more, sicne I only bought 3 of them, so I was going to look in the Dollar Store. I wouldn't even bother searching, just ask someone who works there to point them out.

I bought the Wal Mart ponchos for .88. They were in the camping/outdoor section of the sporting goods dept. The Target brand (Homeland?) were $1.20 in my local store, and they also had Coleman brand that were a little more ($1.50??). They were by the Sporting Goods section with the camping stuff.

My mother got us all ponchos at the dollar store ahead of time. They worked out very well especially on our first day at MK in the late afternoon when there was a downpour that shut down most if not all outdoor rides for several hours.
