rain my entire stay?? what to do!!

i have called disney before and they were telling me about flower packages and such. they were nice but pricy. i feel they are not necessary. thanks for all the advice. i think im starting to get nervous and this rain issue isn't helping lol

Don't get nervous, you get nervous, she gets suspicious, lol...

The weather's gonna do what it's gonna do and you can't control it. Like I said before, make the best of it, if an opportune moment comes along, go for it. It's what you do with the situation you're in that's gonna make it special.

Rain can be romantic. It encourages cuddling for warmth and sitting together looking outside at the rain. I think the Polynesian is very romantic in the rain. Good luck. It will be fine. It has rained every trip that I have been to WDW. We will be going the week after you, and I'm not a bit concerned about the rain.

We had a completely soaking day at Disneyland once upon a time. Road rides tons of times while others waited the rain out. Were we wet? Yep. Was it fun? Yep. And, we got engaged that night after the wonderful day. Enjoy the rain, enjoy the mess, enjoy your love.

It rained a lot on my last trip. Have to say, it was not pleasant. One thing I hated the most was that our feet kept getting wet. You might want to think about what to take with you to prevent that. Rain boots are an option I did not think of, but that would do the trick. Or take a change of socks with you to the parks. Make sure you have extra shoes. The multiple ponchos is a good idea because who wants to walk around with a used, wet, poncho...no one. We also bought Disney umbrellas at the hotel.

Having said that, just get it in your mind that rain is ok and be playful about it. Also maybe it won't rain at all or maybe it will just rain a little. Go and enjoy! And congrats on your proposal!

I've been in all types of weather (below freezing /raining/ 100 degrees) and super hot and humid is the worst! Tempers are shorter in hot weather. Just pack decent rain coats and it will be fine. It rarely rains the whole day and rain keeps the locals away so it will be less crowded. You will still have a great time

I hope you are right. My gf has been asking me to cancel due to the rain. Clearly she has no idea what I have planned for her lol I really hope this all works out.

We bought some good quality ponchos and brought disposables as well. We also had a water rag to wipe up huge puddles before sitting, wore baseball hats, crocs, and wicking fast drying clothes.

ooh, I think the rain would be a perfect cover for you! Walk down mainstreet in MK, duck into the jewelry store to get out of the rain and "look around". It's looking better both on my app and the news website!!!! Maybe wishes do come true. any suggestions on how to hide the ring and get it through the airport ECT without her seeing it? I've been trying to figure this one out. I'm scared to death of it somehow getting lost

I am going on the same day and have been checking the weather almost daily and it is continuously changing. Don't give up just yet.
Beside, sometime the un-perfect setting is what makes something perfect.

Oh i agree. And yes it's been changing a lot. Although I like the current looks much better than all the rain they had previously. Hoping we both get some nice weather. We had a cold snowy winter so having some warm sunshine would be perfect. Enjoy your vacation!
