You know the last full day we had there in October last year we had a torrential downpour - and it just kept raining for the next 2 days. I took a video clip of DD and I wading ankle deep in water through tomorrowland. She asked why I was taking video of our feet and I simply told her the truth: You gotta see this to believe it!

All this heavy rain is being caused by TS Debby in the Gulf. Most of the heavier rain bands are on the western side of the state, so WDW is getting hit harder than most of Orlando. I live about 20 minutes north of Universal Studios and I've had a steady rain all day...but nothing very heavy. The weather should improve by Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Until then...not so much.

wow :scared1:
we were in epcot a few years ago with rain like that. we ended up wading through it to get out!

we had to swim through the water at tomorrowland too!!

we'd had a really dry visit so i hadn't yet purchased ponchos yet....
then BOOM....downpour....we were stuck....caught in the middle of tomorrowland - by the food in the middle.....so i ran through the downpair...actually, i swam through the downpour to the store across from there....bought 6 ponchos and swam back...

We had 5 days of that early June!! Lol.

My DD6 was unimpressed that her "feet kept sinking" :rotfl:

then again could be a leak from Splash 'N' Soak Station from the water from Casey Jr
