I am getting ready to make my ADR's this weekend :woohoo: I was double checking everything and just read that the DTD location of Rain Forest Cafe doesn't take reservations. We were going to eat there and then do DTD for the evening. We have a membership card for there that cuts your wait for a table. But... this is Disney. My question is should we risk not having an ADR and hope with our card the wait isn't terrible or just make ADR at the AK location? We've never eaten at either one in Disney- how crazy crowded is the one at DTD? Thanks for any info!

Hi! When we tried to eat at that location a few years ago, there was a 2-hour wait. So we put our name in and walked around and shopped and returned at the 1 hour mark to check in, and then came back with time remaining. You could try that!

We have eaten at both. We liked the Ak location better. Also, it was nice to make reservation because when we showed up there was an hour or so wait. We were seated right away.

Your Safari Club membership card will get your seated quickly. At least it always has worked that way for us. Not much of a wait at all with it.

Your Safari Club card should get you to the head of the line We've never waited more than a few minutes with the card either at Disney or in Mpls location.

herc.

You can make reservations for the RFC at DTD. There is a different number than Disney Dining. I think I got it off the priority seating calendar. I know it can be done, I have an ADR there in August.

I made lunch reservations at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD for a trip this July. The number I called was (407) 827-8500. The lady who answered the phone took my reservation info and gave me a reservation number without any problem. :yay:

thank you guys so much. I know the safari club always gets us a table right away in our local RFC but I just wasn't sure how crowded it would be there. I'm going to call that different phone number and make a reservation. Do they accept them at 180 days too?
