my favorite part of Disney is fireworks!
My last visit was early May, so I have not seem the 60th Fireworks yet.
I will be visiting the parks for 2 days (1/8&1/9).
I will sit for hours to wait to view them...but at times, in the past they cancel due to weather issues.
My question is.... Is it true that if it rains during the day ( or when the "pack" them)... They will cancel for the evening?
And they don't tell you until show time...right?
Do they ever just tell you ahead of time...no fireworks?
Does anyone have solid rain/firework knowledge?
Forecast is rain.
Thanks!

Sometimes they let you know earlier that the fireworks are canceled, but there are times when they cancel right before it starts.
I would assume there is a 50/50 chance of the fireworks happening.

We were there in the rain once when the fireworks had been cancelled but it was also windy and I think the wind has a lot more to do with it than the rain, since it was not pouring by any means.

Rain in the day doesn't effect the fireworks in the evening. If it's raining in the evening, fireworks WILL be cancelled. Shoot, if someone sneezes the wrong way they'll be cancelled. That said, it looks like the 8th will be a sunny day in Anaheim per the Apple weather app. You should've have to deal with rain that day.
