Is it necessary to cover your stroller when you park them? I've never been to WDW, so I don't know what the stroller parking areas are like. Are they covered? Is there anywhere at Disney where you can buy the stroller covers? I don't have time to get one because I would have to order it online and have it shipped. (We live in a small town and if Wal-Mart doesn't have it, you're outta luck!) TIA for any help.

We covered our Graco stroller with a cheap $0.99 poncho from wal-mart on rainy days. It worked like a charm - we put the stroller canopy up, then slid the poncho over the stroller and it kept our stroller dry. We also used this method when our 2 year old was in the stroller. The poncho was clear so we could see her and she could see out. Buy one before you go and give it a test run!

No, stroller parking is generally not covered.

That's a great idea! Thanks for the suggestion. :thumbsup2

I really depends on the kind of day. If there is a good chance of rain it is a great idea to keep them covered while in an attraction. I can't tell you how many times we have gone in to something and come out in the pouring rain. Nothing worse then a wet stroller to sit in all day. It really depends on the time of year. Winter isn't as much of a risk of daily rain. Summer and spring is.

Sometimes you park it under cover and the cast members will come and move it, so it isn't covered anymore. That one sucks. Most of the time the stroller parking isn't covered, but there are a few places it is. Those fill up fast.

I have heard in a pinch that a clear 99 cent shower curtain works too.

We have a rain cover for both the double and single stroller and they have proven to be so worth it. I would go ahead and order it. They are a lot more comfortable for the kid then a poncho and less likely to leak (but those things will do the job in a pinch.) Rain covers also have vents so it doesn't get too hot and icky in there. :thumbsup2

Not sure how much time you have until you leave. I just bought one on Target website - it was only available via the internet. It took about a week to get it - they did have rush delivery but I chose regular. Its a Graco weather shield. We're renting a stroller from ABBF and I wasn't sure if they supplied a raincover or not so I just bought one. Good luck!
