It poured one afternoon/evening when we were there in 2016 (rain forecast for every day but it rained just that one day). We had our cheapo ponchos in our fanny packs (yes, we're nerds), and donned those while sheltering in a shop on Main Street. When the lightning and downpour subsided to a light, steady rain, we headed out, sloshing our way across the MK, happy as larks. There had been a mass exodus during the storm, so it was relatively quiet, and we got a lot of riding done.
I had on sneakers and socks, and I remember noticing later that night at Epcot that despite my feet having been soaked, they weren't bothering me at all. Usually I'm sensitive to that sort of thing, so it was a surprise. Not ideal, for sure, but it didn't slow me down.
I remember fretting about the forecast leading up to that trip. All of my plans had been made with perfect weather in mind. The thought that it might RAIN just devastated me. When it actually started raining, I realized how silly I had been. WDW is fun no matter what.
