Rain and Fireworks and Parades?

Do parades and fireworks get cancelled because of rain??? I know wind plays a factor, but I have not heard if rain does. We'll be there this weekend, and so far rain is predicted. Might help with the crowds, but I'll be bummed if everything gets cancelled. Thanks!

Parades, fireworks and F! can all be canceled due to rain. I would plan to see them early in the trip. That way, if they are canceled, you can plan again for another day. If you plan for them at the end of the trip you wont have another chance.

Fireworks will run in rain... only Wind is a big factor.

Fanstasmic will run if the safety crew see if the stage is not too wet and slippery.

I dunno about parade.

Everything is concerning safety...

We were there this weekend and it was raining Sunday night. Fireworks still run if there is no lightning and such. But I must warn you, it does not "snow" if it has been raining. We were very bummed with no snow after the fireworks. I know they can't. it just stinks though!!

Well I'm glad to hear that they still will do the fireworks, but bummed if it can't snow. Boo Hoo!!!! I'm keeping my eye on the weather report, and wishing for sunny days, or at least dry days. Thanks for your input.

I will keep wishing with you tinkermell. Today is DTD and tomorrow is DL with BB dinner and Fantasmic dessert seating. I did as everyone suggests and scheduled these things early in the trip. Well I'm just about out of here.

Is Tinkerbell in the Holiday wishes fireworks show? When we were there on Saturday it started raining during the fireworks performance and I never did see Tinkerbell. Wondering if she doesn't fly in the rain.
We had good intententions of staying for Sunday's performance, but when it started raining we left figuring the wind would also keep the fireworks from happening. We heard them later in the hotel.

No she doesnt fly for the holiday fireworks... and i doubt she flies in the rain.

I watch the news every night so i get a weather forcast every day.

update is its suppose to rain all day on Sat Thats even worst!
