Rain all week?

Oh No! All the week long weather forcasts I have checked say rain in Anaheim all this week and through New Years! We leave on the 30th and it is such a bummer to think it will rain every day of our trip. We have had wonderful rainy trips...but that combined with the coldness of a really late night on New Year's Eve is dampening my spirits a bit. Any news of optimistic weather changes from any Disneyland locals would be GREATLY appreciated in the next few days!

sorry to say that i don't have very good news as of now (sunday, 10:10 am local time). the clouds are really moving in but it's not raining yet. the bright side of it is that if you do get to DL and it doesn't rain, then you'll enjoy DL at its "least crowded" time.

I tossed a coin and we won so we are going to go on nye anyway. My family has reservations @ raffles so what the heck. Maybe it will rain just enough to chase everyone off except us diehards? Does anyone have a list posted on what to bring for such a long day?

We are still going too. I am really hoping that the rain is at a minimum! Stay warm and dry all you Disney die-hards! LOL Please post if you are local and have any hope for decent weather! I will keep checking the boards up until we leave on Thursday!

If you want to save some $, get your ponchos ahead of time. We went on a rainy day once, with some folks from the DIS, and we had a wonderful time - we got soaked at the end, but had so much fun. Ponchos would be better than umbrellas cuz seats are going to get wet (like It's a Small World, etc.)

It's wonderful to go to DL when it's raining! That's one of my favourite times to go!

Why? Because all the rest of the people stay away because they don't want to get wet. Just plan ahead with the ponchos (we bought some cheap plastic "canada" ones at home for $1) and you're all set.

So Poncho's, 20 pair of socks each, maybe a mylar blanket or 2 for the sitting part? hmmm ---anything else???

I am nervous about the weather too!! We will be at DL NYE and then traveling to Pasadena for the Rose Parade - I am more worried about having to sit on the street and watch the parade in the rain than being at DL in the rain. But no matter what I will be in DL so it will be much better than being at home!!

here's the 411 for today (monday)....it was suppose to rain but it turned out to be very, very pleasant. Not too cold and not warm....very pleasant and no rain. a little cloudy but the sun was trying to peek out at times. i'm looking up above now and do see a blue sky from where i am.

the weatherman is not always right! let's hope for a good forecast for you!

I hope some of the rain goes away!! It'll be my first time to Disneyland and I don't want it to rain the whole time. We are also going to the Rose Parade as well as the game, and it will not be fun sitting out in the rain!! Oh well, we've got ponchos and raincoats all ready! We leave tomorrow!!!

The forecast today showed rain all week, but tapering off by Friday evening. They listed Saturday as slightly cloudy and cool. Hope that helps for all of you coming to visit...
