I like American toothpaste. Even Colgate Total has a cinnamon/clove thing going on.
I love anything peanut butter based. I agree (and have often stated so here) that the stuff we get over here is simply not right. Very claggy and almost inedible, although probably far better for us than the smooth, sugar-laden US varieties. (Mmmm, silky smooth sugar-laden peanut butter

). Skippy is readily available here, but I still can't help stocking up when I'm in the US (Reese's, Peter Pan, et al). Ditto peanut butter based candy. I love Reese's Pieces and Cups, and feel compelled to buy some when I'm in the US, even though they're not that hard to find over here. Peanut butter M'n'Ms, Twix's, Snickers, etc seem to be available from time to time in the US. If I see them, I snap them up.
I also buy industrial-sized ibuprofen at silly prices. In fact, we're only about half-way through the giant container we bought in January. Ditto Zantac - you can't buy more than about 5 tablets without a personal interview with a pharmacist in the UK. In the US we can get enough to last 2 years for around $10!

I also had a bit of an 'alternative remedy' fest at Walgreens in January. SAM-E, Melatonin, 5-HTP, blah-de-blah-de-blah. It was all so cheap, it would have been churlish not to.
I also stock up on Mitchum gel deodorant. All the other variants of Mitchum seem to be available here (spray, roll-on and solid), but not the gel.
Pat O'Brien's Hurricane mix is another thing which springs to mind. It's easy enough to make one's own cocktail mixes on the whole, but I haven't got a clue how to make Hurricane mix.
Bourbon. There is some strange law which prohibits the export of much of the stuff from the US, so we always try (and always succeed

) to get something we've never tried before.
Beer nuts. A peanut variant which dh loves.
Twinkies. Disgusting, synthetic cakes (kinda like mini Swiss rolls). I can't say I've eaten one in recent years, but we always buy them at the supermarket for our villa stays and they always get eaten, so someone must like them!
Krispy Kreme donuts. It's many, many years since I've eaten anything resembling a doughnut in the UK (I truly wouldn't
want to), but I do throw caution to the wind on holiday and indulge myself. I only like the sugar-glazed creme-filled variety. I only want one. And it has to be fresh.
I'm sure there are other things. I'll be back!
