Ragland Road?

Several years ago I had dinner reservations at Raglan Road about 30 minutes prior to the start of a band. It was perfect. Traveling into the area for a golf weekend with the boys and would like to do this again. Have there been any changes to this restaurant? Any advice for reservations?

Reservations can be gotten on opentable.

Sat and Sun from something like 10 to 2 (check their actual website for the hours) they have brunch. For brunch they start music and dancing at noon. Otherwise you have to wait until late afternoon for that.

You will find all the information to help you plan on their website

We were disappointed in October in all aspects of our evening. We have been going annually since it opened and we will be taking a break this year.
Our food simply was not good, and the band was the least enjoyable we have even seen
Good Luck

Huh. Everything the 9 of us ordered was very tasty as usual, the band was great, and the dancing was fun. Dec 11 brunch.

We were there for lunch a year ago and the band and food were great.
We were there last month just for an afternoon drink and shopping break. The band and dancers were a lot of fun.
Have never been there for an evening so YMMV.

We went Monday night for dinner, which was good, though we waited a bit longer than I thought we would with a reservation. The meal was nice, and the stage show was 'okay'. A little too canned however, as the lead singer seemed to be working off a script with her banter. The music and dancers were just okay. Overall, they were about a 7 out of 10. A few days later, late afternoon, we passed the patio and a trio was on stage, comprised of a young woman, a guitar player, and a second guitar/fiddle player (wearing a kilt). Hearing them from the walkway, we went in and sat over drinks. They were extremely good, much better than the main stage act. They were perfect for this venue. I'm trying to find out the name of the group as I want to recommend them to friends in the area. The patio area seems to have the same menu as the main room, and if you are going for the food and not so much for the loud stage show, I'd strongly recommend finding this group and eating outside while enjoying them.

As I said we have gone every year since they opened. It was our single always. We were really disappointed
The potatoes in my (adult) DS's It's Not Your Bleeding Chowder were hard - barely cooked at all. My Serious Sirloin was tough and I couldn't even eat the mashed potatoes, they tasted funny. I forget what DH had but he was disappointed too. The scallop forest was delicious as always.
The band was just not up to snuff. Worst we've seen in years. Dancers were terrific but could not make up for everything else.
JMHO

Like any restaurant, it probably depends on the chef and how things are going that night. I was also there in October and had the "It's Not Your Bleeding Chowder" and the potatoes were cooked fine in my dish. We also had the Scallop Forest, which was very good, and several other dishes. It sounds like you were there on an "off-night" (hopefully they have more "on-nights" than "off-nights"!) I also wasn't terribly impressed with the band (three women - I don't recall the name of the band), but the dancing was very good (as usual).

We haven't had a bad experience at RR yet. We go there once per trip on Sat night as Food&Wine make WS impossible that day. I make a ressie for 5:30 - 6:00 but if there are 2 bar stools open we'll hop on and tell the server to cancel the table. We usually split a Scallop Forrest and then get a new (for us) entree each washed down with Guinness or Smithwicks.
