We are reserved for dinner the night of March 16th after we get off the Fantasy. Just dawned on me it's the night before st. Patrick's day.

Does anyone know if it will be crazy that night? We're a family of 4 with two kids under 10 so I'd rather not have them experience "St. Patrick's Day" shenanigans. ;)

And just noticed my typo. RAGLAN ROAD

I'm gonna' go out on a limb here - Raglan Road is a popular place for imbibing.

Plenty of folks use St. Patrick's Day as an 'excuse' to imbibe too much.

Be advised, there are many folks who complain about excessive alcohol consumption at Epcot and throughout Disney Springs too, so it's not as if avoiding Raglan Road is going to avoid shenanigans around St. Patrick's Day.

But if I were you and had noticed the same thing with the timing of my reservation - I'd change my reservation.

With St. Patrick's Day being on a Sunday, Raglan Road will most likely be celebrating all weekend long. Saturday is most likely going to be loud and crazy crowd wise.

What time is your reservation? Go early and you'll be fine. All of DS will be hoppin as the evening gets later and later.

Our reservation is for 5:15. But I think I will change the reservation. Thanks everyone. Bummer cause I love some good irish pub food.

I’d not miss the food and atmosphere. I don’t think it love any worse than walking disney springs or being at Epcot.
It’s such good food and a fun lively place.

As others have said, Raglan Road (and DS in general) on a Saturday night can be quite boisterous. Not to mention that it will be even more so on St. Patrick's day weekend.

If you are looking for an alternative for Irish pub food, Cookes of Dublin is the quick service restaurant right outside of Raglan Road. They have great fish and chips, although I get the gluten free fish and onion rings. You could do lunch, which is more quiet outside, and there is an outside patio with a bar, some inside seating and other outside seating on the side. It's one of DH and my favorite places to grab a bite, relax on the patio and people watch. And it's operated by Raglan Road, so some of the food is the same, just not the full menu.

I love Raglan Road and have always wanted to go there on St. Patrick's Day! We usually go later in the Spring and keep missing it. :sad1: But, my kids are all grown now so I understand not wanting to take little ones.

Raglan is always noisy in the evening.

I wouldn’t change the reservation. Maybe bring earplugs, but I do that anyway.
