My favorite restaurant in DTD has been Paradiso 37 since the first time we ate there. Therefore, I've had an ADR for months now. However, I'm starting to wonder if we shouldn't do something different? EVERYONE speaks so highly of Raglan Road but we have actually never eaten there...so should I stay with my long-time favorite or branch out a little? Thoughts anyone?

Personally, I would do RR to try something different. Just make sure to time your res to catch the live music and dancing.

I usually like to stick with what I like. But if you try RR you just might like it, it's really good.

We absolutely love RR! We've never tried Paradiso but I would suggest giving RR a try!

LOL, I'm trying to plan a "something different" trip, and the only one I'm really having a hard time with is switching Raglan Road on our arrival night! We usually go to DTD on arrival day and eat dinner there, and we love it! So how about you try RR and I'll try a different restaurant too ;)

Our Recomendations:
. . . appys: Asparagus and Goat Cheese Tart
. . . entree: Kevin's Heavenly Ham, Fish & Chips
. . . dessert:Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding

NOTE: Danielle Fitzpatrick dancing and the Tuskar Rock band playing are authentic
Irish. However, the food is not. The food is an altered versions of Irish cuisine; some
any true Pub would not offer. Bread Pudding was very tasty. The Shepard's Pie was not
close to what one might expect; the remainder of the food was tasty, but average. A
surprise, the fish-and-chips were quite tasty and reasonably priced. Also noted is that
the room noise is too high for dining. We found the food can be significantly improved
if you do several of the whisky flights.

We tried RR for the first time on our last trip (June '13). loved it so much I booked another ADR for our upcoming Oct trip. Food was good (and reasonably priced), service and entertainment was great as well!

Thanks guys! After sleeping on it and reading these, I decided to be brave and try something new! I love Paradiso, but I'm excited to try Raglan Road!

We are doing the same in July, it looks like we will have great food and entertainment. My daughters are looking forward to it.

We want to try Raglan Road on our next trip.

We always go to Downtown Disney twice and I know we'll be going to WPE for breakfast and lunch/dinner so I figured the other day we could try Raglan Road- we've never had Irish food before and it sounds like a good atmosphere too!

We are trying RR on our arrival night too. Very excited to try something different. :cool1:

Love raglan road. One of our favorites. The food is good not great. The bread basket they give you is fantastic. And my husband loves the bread pudding. My husband also likes pot pie. The entertainment is excellent. Be sure to ask to sit in main room not side room. You want a good view if the stage and the dance stage which is in middle of room. You may have to wait a little longer for table but it is worth it. If you are a wine drinker their bottles are priced well. But we have tables in wonderland card so get 20% off the meal including alcohol so a 40 bottle of wine comes down to 32 which makes it reasonable. By the way the musical entertainment on main stage is excellent and the band comes on about 9 I think. They sometimes bring kids up on stage to dance with the dancers.

Are they still serving the 10 oz steak and if so, is it any good or should I pass on it:confused3

I don't think you'll regret your choice. Raglan Road was one of my favorite meals on our last trip! Just be sure to save room for dessert; the Bread Pudding is amazing!
