I made ADR for Raglan Road at 715pm for DH, myself and DS(4). Then I read in other post that this is more of an adult atmosphere. Has anyone gone with their children and did they enjoy it? :confused3

Once you get later in the evening, it's definitely a bar atmosphere with hardly any children. At 7:15, you are probably okay. As long as you are comfortable taking your 4 year old in there. Most families with young children dine earlier.

DD (teen) and I ate there around 7:30pm. We did see families with young kids. Plus it's a big place, so there are lots of spots away from the actual bar.

We ate there this summer @ 6:15 and the place was full with families. Our kids 12 & 7 LOVED it!!! The atmosphere & entertainment were great! They get all the diners involved in singing & clapping along. Make sure to ask for a table with a view of the stage if that interests you. Or, if it's getting late for your little one you may want a table by the door. That way you can still hear the singing & dancing but it won't be quite as loud. Enjoy!!!

7:15 is a little late - by the time you eat and leave it will be 8:15- 8:45 and it does get a little "rowdy" in the evening. We love it, but we do not have a 4 year old we are worried about.

I think you'll be just fine. I wouldn't make an ADR for later than 7:30 or 8 with younger kids, especially if they'd be bothered by the volume level (like my younger DD is - she behaves well in a quiet restaurant but takes a noisy one as permission to forget her inside voice).

We've been there late enough to enjoy the band and dancer's first set without any problems, and didn't feel out of place as there were plenty of other families with children. 7:15 is perfect timing in my opinion, because you should be there long enough to catch a bit of the entertainment right when it starts (at 8), but will have the quieter pre-entertainment atmosphere for most of your meal.

Thank You for your help, I think DS will love it, I am looking forward to going and enjoying Great food, dancers and music. :goodvibes

Our daughter was 6 1/2 our last trip and she loved Raglan Road. She wants to go back during our next trip. I think you will all enjoy the entertainment and the food is good.

We ate there this past December. We had a 7:30 ADR, but did not get seated until a few minutes after 8. There were tons of families in there. DS loved watching the dancers that came out and he even enjoyed the music.

It will be full of children until about 9 or so. And there will still be some children even then.
