Can anyone confirm that there is NO entertainment on Sundays, evenings in particular? I thought I read that somewhere. Obviously they would have music on Fridays and Saturdays...

Haven't been since december 07, BUT, the band (and dancer) were on from 9pm until 1, monday through saturday. Sunday night they had someone else, who they called their 'one man band' who played piano and sang. Reports are he is very good, but I'd imagine the atmosphere is a little less rockin which might be good or bad depending on your point of view.

I think I must have been there on an "off" night last October. My food wasn't very good (lukewarm and kind of soggy fish and chips). Plus, the music was so loud we couldn't have a conversation without absolutely shouting.

But it appears to be a favorite of a lot of people, so maybe my bad experience was just a fluke. I say, if a restaurant sounds interesting, give it a try, even if you read some bad reviews! You never know.

Another positive vote ate there in Feb. Had th stuffed pork which was excellnt ans so was the bread pudding. This time when I go I'm trying "It's not bleeding chowder ! I am torn for dessert as they have someothers I want to try ! Wish you could get a smal portion of more than one !!
