Has anyone eaten here lately. Just made a reservation for our first night in Orlando to have dinner there then stroll DTD. How is it.

Well, I haven't been there "recently" but I have been there! I love the atmosphere and the music...I would suggest you take a look at the menu though and see if you would like the Irish food. If nothing else, I would definitely say you should stop by and have a Harp or a Guinness!

Food was wonderful and the entertainment was awsome.

I was there last year and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. I had the Salmon of Knowledge and it was out of this world. My husband had the steak and gave it high praise as well.

Our 2 children even rated it as one of their favorites. They loved the Dalkey Duo appetizer (sort of Irish pigs in a blanket) and cleaned their plates at dinner - a rarity.

We had eaten there the year before, but only stopped in for desserts (which were great). I have nothing but high praise for Raglan Road. Great decor, great food, and great entertainment.

Here's a link to their menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_rag.htm

I haven't eaten there since last November, but we've had dinner at RR 3-4 times now and have never been disappointed.

My favorites: the Guinness ribs and the calabash.

Our friend, Matt, plays the Zendrum at Raglan Road. He's also part of the group, Mo'Rockin', that plays at Epcot's Morocco. These performers at Epcot are very talented, aren't they? RR has great Irish food and other favorites.

We always stop by these free shows and encourage others to experience their music.

We ate there 4 weeks ago. My review is posted on the review board, with pictures, and menu pictures as well.

The meal was excellent, as usual.:thumbsup2

Another positive recommendation from me, as well. We ate there twice on our last trip...both times the food was great. However, ordered the shepards pie for the first time and just didn't like it....way to lamb-y for my taste....it wasn't prepared poorly or anything, just not my cup of tea. As I had hardly eaten it, the server asked if it was all okay. I explained it to him, clarified it I just didn't care for it and he ended up taking it off the bill, which I was shocked at! So, I was very pleased with the service, as well.

You gotta try the heaven on earth ribs and the bread and butter pudding. You'll be hooked.

Ragland Road is one of our favorites!! A must do for every trip.
I love the Dakley Duo and the Bread Pudding. The food is wonderful
and the entertainment is very good.....it usually starts around 9 pm.
My DH loves the Not Bleeding Chowder and I love Kevin's Heavenly Ham!!
We have had the Steak too...it's great also. Service has always been very good for us.:thumbsup2

We had a few meals in June of this year. We like it so much that I bought the RR cookbook! Even picky eaters DS and DH have found several things to try there. We have also had the fish and chips from the take out around the corner.. love them both!

You won't be disappointed!

We have eatten there every trip since it 1st opened we were so won over! The food puts to rest the myth that Irish food is bland. This place proves the exact opposite.

Food, drink, service are terrific and the atmosphere is out of this world.

If you are there after 9p then have live entertainment.

My mom and I just ate there Saturday night...it was excellent! It was our surprise hit of the trip! She had the steak (which I also sampled) and it was perfectly cooked to order and the accompanying mashed potatoes were real and fresh - she loved it. I had the Not Bleedin' Chowder and I practically licked the bowl clean, it was that good! The soda bread and olive oil/Guiness reduction was very good, too!

I would highly recommend it! :)

Food is okay. Nothing special. Band is way too loud. We won't go back.

Couldn't agree more about the ribs and the pudding. Both are great. So good, I will be eating them next Saturday night.:thumbsup2

I was actually disappointed of Raglan Road and I LOVE IRISH FOOD! We have an authentic Irish pub two blocks from our house that has better Irish food. The Shepard's Pie was just meat and potatoes swimming in a pool of guiness soaked salt...not what I grew up with or what I'm used to.

Pros:
The beer and whiskey flights are nice.
The bread pudding was awesome (it saved the meal..it was THAT good)

Cons:
Dark and noisy (even before the entertainment)
Super salty food
Overcooked meat in my DBF's mixed grill dish
Time it takes to get to and from DTD with the slow busses

I wish we had chosen a second meal at Epcot or gone to Spoodles instead!

Raglan Road is wonderful, you won't be disappointed :thumbsup2

By the way, their chocolate martini is to die for :drinking1 And the strongbow is good too (and this is coming from someone who hates beer)

Can anyone confirm that there is NO entertainment on Sundays, evenings in particular? I thought I read that somewhere. Obviously they would have music on Fridays and Saturdays...

We loved Raglan Road and will be going again on our next trip.
It is a beautiful restaurant, the food was great and the service was attentive without being hovering. I had made an 8:30 ADR knowing that the entertainment started at 9. The band was wonderful and the Irish Step Dancer was impressive.
We finished our dinner but wanted to stay a bit longer, and our waiter was very good at assessing when we might want another beer. He was really good.
We will return.
As for ADR's the night we were there ( a weeknight) they were turning away walk ups. I don't know if this is always the case or not.
The band does not play on Sunday night, but there is some kind of entertainment that night.
I would try to go when the band is playing.
