I believe this is the way the name is spelled...Does anyone know anything about this restaurant? Is it on Disney property? If so, where? What type of menu do they have?
THANKS,
Tabitha
:)

Ragland Road is at Pleasure Island but there is no longer a charge to go in. It is an Irish Pub with typical pub food. The reviews of the food has been mixed, but I've been there twice and enjoyed the food both times. Their appetizers are good, the soup is good along with the fish and chips, shepherds pie, burgers and their signature dish, a variation of a boiled dinner but with "bacon" (a smoked and cured ham) instead of corned beef.

The entertainment is excellent, an Irish band starts up at 9 PM and about every 3rd song a step dancer comes out and dances on a special table. Around 8 PM the MC / Maitre d' warms up the crowd with Irish sign alongs and stories.

All in all it is an enjoyable evening. They are now taking the DDE card and also giving DVC members discounts.

and just for info, it's spelled Raglan Road, not Ragland.

Thanks so much for your responses. Somehow, I have missed this place. Sounds awesome. I think we will give it a try.

We've eaten there twice and the first time the service was slow, but the food was good. THe second time, the service was great and the food was overcooked. I am not giving up though cause I think they definitely have potential and figure they just need some time to get the kinks worked out. The one thing I absolutely adore there is their iced tea. It is some kind of tea with black currant in it and the taste is so refreshing!!

We were dissapointed with raglan road...the food was awful, portions were small, and the service was even worse.

Raglan Road's menu is definately not typical pub food. It is Irish with a twist. The food is wonderful, the service is wonderful. We have been 4 or 5 times now and it has always been wonderful. Looking forward to going back again in a couple weeks. Kevins Kudos is the signature dish with the side of bacon (ham) and my hubby loves it..lol.

We had dinner there last Monday, and loved it! The Irish Soda Bread is to die for, and the "It Ain't Bleedin Chowder" was delicious!!

My dad & I ate there shortly after it opened last October and loved it. We did not see the entertainment, however, and I want to take my mom when she comes this weekend (Mom's all Irish). All of the people that i have spoken to have enjoyed it, but also those people are accustomed to this type of food. Granted, when I went and ordered something with bacon, I was a bit surprised - their bacon was more like canadian bacon and not cooked enough for me. :teeth:

We went a couple of weeks ago the food was good. The service was slow and that was with us being one of maybe ten family's there. The meal was the most expensive meal we had at WDW (no appetizers or desserts but one glass of wine). We are not planning on doing it again unless we have the dining plan.
