Raglan Road with Kids

Can children eat at Raglan Road? Would you take your children there?

I haven't been to Raglan Road before, but I am taking DS6 and DD4 there for our upcoming trip...although for lunch, not later at night when I imagine things would be louder and more crowded. My children really like pub-style restaurants. It's a fun atmosphere and DS and DD usually have lots of menu choices.

Of course, this past weekend I took my children to an Oktoberfest where everyone in my family, including me, was drinking beer and singing along with the German band...so maybe I am just a bad parent

We were there in October in the evening with our children. There were three families in our group and the ages of the kids were 4, 7,10,11 and 16. While the atomsphere is pub like the restaurant is very nice and the kids all enjoyed the Irish Dancer and the band. We were sitting in the restuarant just off the bar area. There were other children there and they did have a kids menu. The staff was great with the kids and everyone had alot of fun.

I would, but not late at night - we went at 10pm and no children were in sight and it quickly becomes a bar environment that I personally wouldn't bring children to. BUt lunch and dinner? Sure, I'd bring them!

About lunch at RR - everything I've read indicates that they don't open until 3:00, and someone posted earlier today that when they went there at 3:00, they were told it wouldn't open until 4:00.

Hmmm...we've got an adr for 3 PM. I suppose I should call and check on it. I don't think the kids would be too happy waiting an hour for dinner.
