Raglan Road with kids at 8 pm?

Is 8 pm too late to have kids at Downtown Disney at Raglan Road? My kids are night owls, so they will be fine. I am just worried being out of place with a family of 5 with 3 small kids. Will there be other kids there in the evening or would I be better off to do lunch?

No, it should be totally fine. We were just there with an earlier reservation - 6:30, but when we left around 8:00, there were lots of families in there and kids dancing along to the entertainment. It should be no issue at all, IMO. After dinner, we spent until around 10 PM at Marketplace watching the entertainer on the stage (a DJ that did a bunch of kids contests) and at Goofy's Candy Kitchen.

There will be a ton of kids in DTD at night.

I think you'll be fine. There are plenty of kids there.

When we go we ask to be seated away from the entertainment/bar area if the band will be playing. It can get very loud but if you are off to the side it's fine.

Have Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding for me-it's so good!

If you are celebrating anything let them know. For DD's birthday a few years back they wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate on her dessert plate. Very nice touch.

We just ate there on Saturday night with our 2 kids @ 7:30pm. No problems at all and the food was phenomenal! The band did start to play @ 8pm and there was an irish dancer so that increased the noise level a bit. But we didn't feel out of place at all. They did seat us in a "quieter" corner of the restaurant; I don't know if that was intentional or not. I didn't request anything specific, we just sorta ended up there and it was fine. It was a fun atmosphere! When we were done we walked around Pleasure Island - had never been there at night before - couldn't believe how busy it was! Enjoy...

Ahhh yes and the bread pudding is to die for!

I think they'll have fun. The band, the dancers, it's all very entertaining.

They should be fine- the place is loud and jumping. The only thing i might say, is that the few times we have eaten there, it has taken a VERY long time to get our food, so make sure your kids can handle that.
