I am having a hard time deciding between these two. We have never been to either one and would like to try one of the two for our downtown disney dinner. We have a 13 year old and a 9 year old and the menus are equally attractive to us. Which one do you think would be more fun for the kids? Your help is really appreciated as this is the last dining decision before our trip in July. Thanks again.

Well, wdwinfo says in a review that Wolfgang Puck is a bit snobby- they wrote something about how they are running on their name and such. They even have a warning in bright red that says they don't recommend the restaurant.

We really liked Raglan Road. Irish music, deep wood colors...I don't think that either is really for kids- not like say SciFi or Beaches and Cream would be but I think Raglan Road was good food and a lot of fun!

I don't have any kids, but I've been to and enjoyed both restaurants. I always see a ton of families at Wolfgang Puck, and I do like the food and service there. I don't think it's snobby at all. Raglan Road is also a great restaurant, but I haven't seen as many kids in there because I think it has more of a "pub" atmosphere. Then again, I tend to have late reservations. The live music is a lot of fun, though. I would choose based on your opinion of the menu, because I certainly wouldn't describe either restaurant as kid-"unfriendly."

We are eating at Raglan Rd and our reservations are at 5:30, from what I heard its more adult oriented later in the evening.

I LOVE Raglan Road and have been over 20x. That being said, the service is SLOOOOOOOW, I'm talking snail slow. We have never gotten out of there before 1 1/2 - 2 hours (when on the DDP).

We liked WPC (with DS2 and DS4 at the time). I thought it was pretty good, not snobby, and the kids really liked the artist's palette dessert thing! Dang, I need to learn how to post pics, I have a really cute one of that!

Haven't been to RR though....

We've been to Wolfgang Puck several times and never found it "snooty" and my two daughters always enjoyed it. One of them, however, loves sushi and the sushi at Puck is some of the best I've ever tasted. Can't remember what my other daughter got - something off the kid menu - but she was fine with it and loved whatever desert they offered. It's also a great, though noisy atmosphere. We love it!

My group went to RR last Sept and we loved it. The food was good but the atmosphere was great. The entertainment was great and the alcohol was flowing. You can't beat it.

These are such great replies and just what we need to help make the decision. Especially appeciate the reply about sushi since my dh and ds (13) love it.
