Raglan Road or The Edison?

If you had to choose between Raglan Road or The Edison, which one would you choose and why? TIA

I'd choose Raglan Road because I like to watch the Irish step dance shows. (Foodwise neither is among my favorites.)

I would also like to know this. We are going in October. I currently have dinner booked at Raglan Road, but the atmosphere at The Edison looks awesome! I might just have to walk in there and take pictures without eating.

Good idea! The atmosphere is very interesting at Edison. You can always have a drink at the bar, and/or watch their late night entertainment, even without having dinner there. Not that their food is bad, but the only thing I really liked on the dinner menu was the grilled cheese and tomato soup, and while I enjoyed it, it's not enough to make me want to have a bunch more meals there necessarily.

We really aren't DS people, but I think that's what we will end up doing. I'm excited to try Raglan Road and take pictures at The Edison. Our main reason for going to DS is to try the Star Wars VR experience. I hope it's still available at the end of October.

We enjoyed our food at The Edison, but we thought that the food at Raglan Road was a bit better. We did love our drinks at The Edison though and I would absolutely go back for a couple drinks at the bar. Once actually seated at The Edison I didn't think the atmosphere was as interesting as I thought it was going to be, it was also freezing in there, my husband, who is never cold, joked about running to a shop and grabbing us sweatshirts.

If you're walking around in the Edison there are artifacts to see, but while seated it's harder to see much of them.

Thanks!!! I am going to have to do that next time, I was enjoying my drink so much that it really didn't occur to me to walk around, I was also freezing and trying to stay warm lol.

I understand. One of my friends also mentioned feeling that it was too cold in the bar area, so we moved to the restaurant seating (which worked for us since we were actually there for dinner).

From what I've read, I would combine the 2. Raglan Road for dinner and enjoy the band and dancers.
Then head to the Edison for dessert and drinks later and enjoy their evening show. Haven't eaten there yet (the menu doesn't interest us that much, but the deserts are supposed to be amazing from reviews).

I had the lime brulee dessert at Edison and it was good but not what I would call amazing. The cheesecake pop dessert looks interesting, and I hope to try it some other time.

Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding is sinfully good. Going to the Edison in August, what type of entertainment do they have?

I wasn't at Edison late enough to catch the live entertainment, which starts at 10PM, but I've read that they have contortionists and other shows more geared to adults.

I should have added that we have a 12 yr old daughter. Thank everyone for your responses, it looks like Raglan Road may be a better option.
