Raglan Road or Big River Brewery?

Any thoughts on the two? I would like to have a welcome party (for my wedding) and both of these places seem like a good fit. Our party size is about 20. Thanks!

Raglan Road, and I haven't even been there. Not impressed with Big River at all. Food was eh. Service was fine.

We're going to RR in June, and from all accounts, it seems like it would be a great place for a large party like yours.

First, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

We went to Raglan Road last August and had a blast (well, as much of a blast as you can have with a then 4 year old in an Irish pub! )...And since it's in Downtown Disney, if your wedding party wanted to continue to party afterwards, there's Pleasure Island right there.

Good food, good drink - I think later in the evening there's an Irish step-dancer and probably some Irish singing.... have fun whatever you decide!

That's an easy question to answer. Raglan Road, hands down.

Another vote for Raglan Road. The restaurant is far more attractive and spacious. Food is excellent as well.

We weren't all that impressed with a walk-by of Raglan Road. The menu seemed quite limited. Yes, they have beer. I agree that PI is right there , if you want your wedding party going there. We enjoyed the brew pub. The food was very good and the beer sampler was fun to split, and there are several attactions in the Boardwalk area - the Dance club and Jellyrolls. They also run late, but it seems a little more tame than PI. (in truth I've never been in either the Dance place or Jellyrolls...I'm always with kids at WDW....) I guess for my wedding, I wanted people to have fun, but not be tempted to go too crazy BEFORE the wedding. I think I'd have been upset if my wedding party had stayed out all night the nihgt before my wedding. After the wedding, yeah, we all stayed up all night, but not before the wedding.

Raglan Road for sure. It is large and quite lovely and has a very fun atmosphere and interesting food and live music. Big River is okay, but pretty ordinary with so-so menu options. Raglan Road is pricier, but just feels much more festive and celebratory in spirit.

Raglan Road would be great. The food and service are fantastic, nice atmosphere. Make sure you call ahead to make reservations / arrangements for your party size.

For an affair like this, I think Raglan Road is much the better choice.

Unlike previous posters I like Big River Brewery, but it would not be a good place for a party of 20.
