Is Raglan Road Irish Pub in Downtown Disney worth going to for dinner? We are staying for 3 nights and have yet to try it.

Tried it last September and really enjoyed it. Our server was great and when we asked what he recommended he really gave us some good choices.

As with any restaurant you are going to find people who love it or hate it.

We also loved it. We scheduled our dinner to be when the dancers are going, and then arrived early and asked for a table with a view of the dancers. A short wait at the bar and then they seated us.

I had a burger which was excellent (hard to come by a decent burger in WDW) and we also got a caeser salad, calamari and some bread pudding (dh and I shared all of this and we were stuffed).

I say give it a try!

This is one of the restaurants that I see way more good reviews than bad for. I am looking forward to trying it on our next trip:)

I've considered driving 1000 miles just for the bread and butter pudding.

I suppose I need a life.

Totally worth it though!

Most reviews of RR are good, but I had a bad experience there. Lukewarm, soggy fish and chips. And the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. But it sounds like my experience wasn't the norm, so I'd suggest you try it. Anny restaurant can have an "off" day!

Raglan Road is one of those places we eat at every trip we take. We have always enjoyed the food (and usually get something different each time), the atmosphere and the drinks. We almost always eat outside, but it is beautiful inside too.

We drive to Disney and drive pretty much everywhere when we get there, but we take the bus when we know we are going to eat at Raglan Road because we enjoy ourselves so much we always want to stay and move to the bar once we’ve finished eating. And this way DH and I can both enjoy as much as we want and not have to worry about who is going to drive “home”. :thumbsup2

One of our favorites! Love the food, service and entertainment....we go to wdw 2x year and its a must do everytime. Enjoy!

It became an instant fave of our family from our trip back in Mar. Try it, very good!

You could come over to KC and get it, they have a location here too :thumbsup2

I believe the KC location filed for bankruptcy and closed last year.

We love Raglan Road. It is on our "must do" list each year. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is warm and friendly, the food is terrific and the entertainment is great.
Can't be beat!!

Is there a particular reason you want to try this place? Irish heritage perhaps? If so, then yes it will be worth it. If its just a choice, IMHO there are other better places to eat at DTD.

Does that help?

We love this place! The guinness ribs are amazing! We've started stopping in for appies and some drinks whenever we are in DTD.

Had NO idea! That's nuts, it was *always so busy and in a prime location!!

We made it a point to try it on our trip last month and for us, we wouldn't go back. That said, we only went for the fish & chips because we had them next door at Cookes of Dublin a few months prior and loved them. We *thought* that going to RR for dinner would be different than what you can get next door but it is exactly the same. One large piece of fish (my mom & split this thinking it would be a dinner portion vs the CS portion from Cookes) and a handful of fries. The price at RR for the fish & chips was $20. The price at Cookes is $10. IF you are going for the Fish & Chips, go next door. That's what we all ordered and were really upset when we realized that they double the price for the same exact thing you can get next door. The dancers were cool but not for the price difference IMO.

I did order the Bread Pudding and wasn't a fan but I love Ohana and 1900 Park Fare bread pudding so YMMV. To us it ended up being a very overpriced meh meal.

Glad to hear more positive reviews. My aunt and uncle are driving down to meet us next week and we are going there for lunch.
