We were driving back from North Carolina and decided to stop at WDW for a night and stay at POFQ. We decided to try Raglan Road for the first time; I was excited to try it. It was myself and DH.

We had a PS for 7:45 pm, and we took the boat from POFQ. We were given a table in another room from the main room and requested another table in the main part so we could see the music at 9 pm. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I was disappointed with the service. The servers just didn't seem into their jobs. When you go to an Irish place, you expect them to be into it, but they just weren't. I've been to Ireland, and I've been to Irish places here in the US that were more lively.

We started with goats town - herb-crusted grilled Irish goat's cheese salad served with fruit compote. This was pretty tasty. We split this. For entrees, I had the chicken and wild mushroom pie served with a lettuce salad (I think it was called pie in the sky). When I ordered, our server made a point to ask if I liked mushrooms. I said yes and was expecting a lot of mushrooms. Instead, I counted 2 or 3 mushrooms in it. DH had 2 sausages on onions and I'm not sure if it came with something else. We both thought our meals were ok. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either. I was disappointed by the lack of mushrooms. I know the Irish aren't known for food, but still. I liked the dessert though. We split the strawberry and apple crumble.

We watched the band for an hour. Every few songs a girl would come out and dance on top of a little stage/table. I think the crowd liked that. We enjoyed the band and would definitely come here again to hang out and listen to the music. But DH said he wouldn't come back here to eat.

We used our DDE at Raglan Road and they accepted it.

We went back to Orlando for the weekend for a convention. We stayed with family, but we ate at Boma on Saturday night. We've eaten there many times and love it.

Our PS was for 9:40 pm, and we still had to wait 10-15 min. We were very tired and very hungry. Our server was nice, and the food was tasty as usual. There were some different things than I've seen before. I'll try to remember everything I ate. I can barely remember everything I had so I really can't remember too much of what DH had. I started with salad with the apple viniagrette (I love that dressing), a pasta salad with I think curry and some other stuff (I've had it before and it's good), lentil salad with hearts of palm (never had before), some other lentil thing (never had before), and a lentil soup (pretty good; I went lentil-crazy tonight :) ). I miss the mullagany (sp?) soup, and it hasn't been there the last 2 times I've gone. I hope it's not permanently gone. Then I had nut crusted salmon (good), couscous marrakesh (I've had before; I think this is the same one they serve at F&W in Morocco?), green beans with coconut (love green beans but forgot didn't like coconut) and something else. For dessert, I had zebra domes (yum!) and fruit. I remember DH had watermelon rind salad (he loves this), meat and zebra domes (yum!). We'll definitely be back.

Hope you enjoyed my reviews.

thanks for the reviews! I can't believe they took the DDE card...I wonder if that's universal now?

We went to Boma the first week in January and the Mulligatawny was there.

edith, I'm so glad they still have that soup. I was getting worried. :)

lillygator, I wasn't sure if they would take DDE, but we just put it in with our credit card and they gave us the discount.

Thanks for the reviews! I have to say though, being from the old country I was brought up on wonderful food! lol
I think I will give this one a miss. I am sure I can get better than this when I go back to Ireland on holiday.
