Many DISers from the 7/5/03 sailing have already booked for 8/7/04. It's a new itinerary and we're a very warm, fun-loving bunch. As I mentioned on another thread, I'd agree to be director of "libations"! We'd love to have all of you join us and really take over the ship.

My family (21 of us) is planning a 7 day

for 2005, and it will be in the summer...........so you never know.

Summer sounds good to me. Does anyone know if we can get the onboard booking credit AND a group discount if someone books from the ship? I am going on the 4/18/04 Wonder, and if we have dates set..I can book the dates if people would be ready to commit by then.

Hmm! Emma and I can feel a cunning plan coming on here! 2005 is the year we are planning to go to South Africa to visit family so no Disney trip that year but this also means that it is the year when we would have lots of DVC points which wouldn't be used up (alright I know we could bank them but where's the fun in that). We're now thinking that maybe the points could find a good home on the birthday cruise.

April would work for us I think as summer is when we would be going to Africa but we could always look at the dates when there was a majority view.

We haven't mentioned this to my DH yet - it needs careful handling so he thinks it was his idea really - you know how it goes, girls. Come to think of it, I hope he doesn't read this thread or we're sunk. Oh well, not to worry.

Can't wait to see what date is decided on so we can see if we can join in. In the meantime will just keep enjoying the thread.

I hope this happens!! As it is, we're sailing on the 4/10/04 Magic and I am very excited about it. I wanted to start a thread for it, but the last one I started fo rthe Jan 11 Wonder was a dud. I guess it better to wait until the cruise is a few months out. I'll try again in Jan or Feb!

I can't wait til Disney opens the 2005 itineraries - that might make a difference in when we can all go that summer.

I know BD and I have discussed Alaska before - that would be outstanding if DCL goes Western for Disneylands 50th Anniversary and it's offered.
