I first saw these carried at WDW and really like them. Are they still popular in the UK? Are they well made?

popular? yes, they are classic, timeless. they are extremely well made and come in a variety of colours styles etc, with some lovely accessories to match:cloud9:
i have 1 bag, 1 walllet, 1 pencil case, and no, i never use them in case they get ruined:rotfl2:
tracy

thank you for your input. I was starting to think I was losing it as I keep bidding on ebay for the bags. I have 4 auctions going and have never even held one in my hand, lol.

I have a bag and multiple purses. They are so so so well made and the leather is really soft. I love it!

I love them as well. I have one but have hardly used it as I dont want to spoil it (daft I know)

Both DD and I love looking at them when we are out shopping and always make a bee line for them in the duty free shops. I just love holding them and touching them.

I like some of the old ones on Ebay even more than the new ones on the US website

DW has tons of them - bags, purses, suitcases, umbrellas, the lot!!
She sure loves that little dog!

Just wish there was somewhere in Orlando that sold them, to maybe save me some money :lmao:

I'm surprised these have been around so long but aren't sold many places here. What else are you guys hiding over there?

We've got the Dole Whip, at least. Unfortunately, it's 2000 miles from my home.

Any good?? I adore them!

I have far too many Radley items if I'm honest! They do a wonderful range now over here too! I started off with a small one about 6-7 years ago now and it was only around £40. That same bag, they re-released recently and it retailed at around £90, so from that you can see how popular they've become over here.

Once I'm home from Florida, if this thread's around to remind me, I'll pop some pictures on to show my collection off :goodvibes

the buy 2 get 1 free promo they are running now is very tempting. I've had my shopping bag open on my desktop since returning home from Disney. But that's a big splurge after just coming home from a vacation

I have two, the large brown and black plain across the body bag. Since being a mum I find they are a stylish, practical good quality everyday bag :thumbsup2Look after them and they last for ages.

When I first got my Radley bag I treated it like it was made of glass. :rotfl: I needn't have worried though as it is really well made and stitched and I'm sure it will take a lot of living. I now have 2 bags and 2 purses. Still plenty on my wish list though.

outbid on all my ebay auctions, wow, these go for a lot on Ebay. Add in overseas shipping and it's getting close to the price of a new one.

or so I'm telling myself :rotfl2:

I read if there is the name Radley on the hanging dog, then the bag is fake. But a bunch on ebay have the name on the dog and the seller's have good reps. Does anyone know if sometimes the name is on the dog?

also, it looks like you have to order one of the largest sizes to get one that would function as an everyday bag. The smalls and mediums look so tiny. Do you have the bigger style?

The dog definitely has RADLEY (indented rather than 'written') on it, unless Radley themselves (as well as John Lewis etc) has been peddling fake bags to DW for years ;)

The dog can come in a variety of different colours and patterns but seems to always have RADLEY on it (just checked about 5 of DW's) :)
