We are going on a cruise in January and are staying at the Radisson right near the port. I read that you have to make reservations a day before you arrive for the shuttle to go to the port. What has been your experience with this? We want to get the earliest shuttle possible, has anyone had difficulty getting the reservation they want? The last time we used a shuttle we just went down to the lobby and boarded the first shuttle that arrived, so this is a new experience for us. Thanks for any help you can provide!

We stayed there last fall and made reservations for the shuttle when we checked in around 5pm and were one of the first shuttles. It was really busy but they had it well organized.

When we stayed there in 2013, I was able to call and reserve the shuttle soon after I made the reservation (about 4-6 months before our cruise). Has it changed to where to have to wait until the day before you arrive?

I called two weeks before check in and they let me make reservations.

I've stayed their twice, and 3 rd time next year. Each time I made the shuttle reservation when I booked. I already have 1030 am for next march.

There were so many people staying there the night we stayed that we would never have gotten on the first two or three shuttles. We booked ours WAY in advance, but I think everyone just stands out there together in the morning waiting in line for the shuttle. The whole area by the lobby/front entry way was crazy. We just called a cab and took that over. I don't remember it costing very much and it was much quicker.

Have a great cruise! :wave2:

Thanks for all of your replies! I will call them and see if I can go ahead and book a shuttle.

Morehouse: Are you saying you booked a shuttle but ended up not taking it because there were too many people waiting for it? Just want to make sure I read your post correctly.

We've always called months ahead for shuttle reservations, never had an issue making the reservation. Getting on the shuttle on the other hand can sometimes be a roll o' the dice....We have gotten on an earlier shuttle 2x, a later shuttle once and the expected shuttle 3x.
