Radisson Shuttle or Car?

OK fellow experts. This will be the first time we have stayed at the Radisson and were wondering. Is it better to try to use their shuttle or is it better to rent a car at MCO and use the Ports parking? Or any suggestions from the board!

We rented a car at MCO, then stayed at the Radisson Friday night. We returned the car Saturday AM (right at the Radisson) and then the AVIS shuttle took us right over to the ship. (You can even return the car on Friday right after you check in.

On the return Saturday we departed the ship, caught the AVIS shuttle over to the Radisson, picked up the car and returned to MCO.

It was really painless and very affordable.

We plan on doing exactly what jtorch just described. The point of even staying at the Radisson is that (1) they have an Avis office, and (2) they shuttle you to & from the port. So there's no need to park at the port if you rent from Avis. With discount codes, you can get a very good deal on both your hotel stay AND the rental car.


By "their shuttle" did you mean Avis' shuttle, or Disney's??

Hi Ray!!

I'm so sorry we won't be cruising with you and Tony again over Halloween. You are both such a delight!! Chuck, Erin and I still treasure our very special shirts!!

For our cruise last year, we used Happy Limousine from MCO to the Radisson and then the Radisson's shuttle to the Port the next morning. We arrived about 1PM on Friday and signed up for the 1030 shuttle on Saturday. We met MCazer and her family on the shuttle which was just wonderful.

Happy Limousine was waiting for us when we disembarked at the Port and took us back to MCO. It was really easy and we did everything via the Internet. We did use Inkkognito's coupon on her website.
