I easily made the change to my reservation using the Radisson Website. My sister-in-law made her reservation over the phone so needed to call. The reservationist asked her where she heard about the promo rate because they are getting so many phone calls. She said her bosses were asking them to check with callers. She told them that I had told her about it, but she didn't know how I received the information. She didn't give her a hard time and changed her reservation to the $59 rate.

DH phoned the hotel and got us a suite for $99 for 11th October ( see you there Luminere999!)

He also checked with them about parking while we are cruising and was told that it IS included with this deal.

it may have cost us a couple of dollars to phone from the UK, but we are saving $$$ on the room.... thank you so much for sharing this promotion with us all 4nana

I called the 800 number and was told I needed to speak to the hotel direct and the reservation desk didn't open until 9. She told me she would have them call me back, which they did, and I booked the night before our Sept. cruise. We also got the Caribbean suite and we aren't arriving until late so access to the beach didn't enter into our decision. I think this is a great deal!

Thanks for the heads up on the 59.00 room rate "fall" special. I had a room at the Hilton for 65.00 for June 14,2002l through AAA. I did call the 888 number and they said I couldd only book that rate on the web (hey - no problemo). Again Thanks

Thank you sooooo much 4nana. I called the hotel direct and the reservations desk was closed. She had me call the 1-800 # and made a reservation for a suite in October. Both numbers were very helpful. You sure have made a lot of people happy!!!

Thanks all, but the credit goes to Radisson for such a great offer I saw the promo by chance and thought I'd pass it on to all the Dis'ners. That's what these wonderful boards are all about! I have gotten so much wonderful infomation here to help with our first Disney cruise. It is really great so many of us have been able to benefit from this promo!!

Just a note of thanks for that timely tidbit of info. We had two rooms booked at the AARP/AAA rate of $99.00. Called the 800 # and had them make me a new set of reservations at $59.00 + tax for a total of $64.10 each room. Saved $80.00 enough for some diving on Cozumel during the Western Inaugural. Called the Radison reservation desk and had them cancel the higher rate which they did without any problem. Thanks again!

DIZMARE: You have had the 2 king bed suite before....That is what I booked for November. Are both kings in one room, just like a regular hotel room, then the sleeper sofa in the living room area? Is there a privacy curtain that can be pulled around that corner tub?

Hi my3kids!

Yes, both king beds are in the same room with the sleeper sofa out in the living room area. No privacy curtain around the tub - it is right out in the open in the same room as the king beds. But, there are curtained French doors between the bedroom and the living room.

You could shoo everyone into the living room and close the french doors for some privacy. (Except you have three kids, and I bet at least one of them would be banging on the door with a plaintive "Mommy.")
