Hi Everyone,

We just returned 9/21-9/26.
We had planned to stay at the Radisson for the entire time......
I couldn't get out of there quick enouph.
Yes the lobby is nicely remodeled......the pool was great kids loved the slide.
The rooms were terrible......I walked in and went YUCK!!!!
They are small (I could have overlooked that), But the SMELL was overpowering!!!!
They oviously are trying to cover up the musty smell with a very strong citrus deoderizer......YUCK!!!!
The room just felt I can't explain it old and dirty (there was no ovious dirt)
The hallways were dark with horriblely old carpet (stuck in the 70's) same carpet in the rooms, just didn't feel clean.
Bathrooms terribly small.

Had DH call and get us a room at the All Star Movies ASAP!!!
We did stay one night, I didn't sleep at all, room gave me the creeps.
Went over to All Star in the morning about 8:30am checked in right away, they delivered our luggage to our room while we headed for the bus to the parks, we didn't even see our room till 9pm that night.
All Stars Movies was GREAT!!!
NO SMELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's always terrible when expectations are not met and I'm sorry you disliked the hotel. We, on the other hand, found it great. But then again DH is a Radisson employee, so perhaps we got better accomodations. Our room and bath were very large and although I didn't much care for the decoration of the room we weren't there very oftern. Really only to sleep. For years we've stayed at DXL and found our last stay there disappointing pretty much for the same reasons you disliked the Radisson. Just goes to show!

A friend stayed there in August and thought it was just okay. She said that the lobby was nice, but her room wasn't that great.

Hmm.... We were going to try the Radisson for one night before we check into BWV. I haven't made any reservations yet, but now of course I'm thinking otherwise as I don't like "smells" either. Hmm... I'll have to think it over some more. Thanks for your review.

We just got back from a 7 night stay at the Radisson also. We had the two room special b/c we stayed with my parents.

The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom. B/c we had adjoining room it was a little better. The maid service was really good though.

The lobby, pool and grounds are really nice. The restaurants are way overpriced - except for Pizza Hut. There are no vending machines for snacks - just soda for $1.00. You have to use the mini bar - which I'm sure is also way overpriced.

The worst part was they charged my credit/debit card for the entire stay on both rooms plus $200 add'l for incidentals. Having those charges on there for the entire week prevented us from doing alot of things we wanted to do. We spoke to the manager the next morning who told us she would just charge my card for the cost of the rooms only & I would get a credit back for $200. And then I had my mom just pay me in cash for her room - however - no credit was ever received.

I would have moved to another hotel had I not been with my parents. I did file a complaint with Radisson but I doubt anything will come of it.

We stayed here one night and that was too long! The rooms are ugly and our friends room, which was non-smoking, was rank with cigarette smoke. I would not return here either.
