Hello! I am new to the board but have beem lurking for quite some time. We are taking the kids to Disney in May. I work for Wyndham Hotels so I am able to get a few free nights at the Palace....but the Wyndham Palms has not confirmed my other free nights yet, so I have booked my backup.
I went to dreamsunlimitedtravel.com (thanks to this board!) and found the Radisson Resort Parkway for $63/night. The property looks really nice so I went ahead and booked it.
I also had a tentative reservation at the ASM resort in Disney but I did not like the fact that there were no coffeemakers (I need my caffiene) in the rooms and I heard that the hotel was more like a Disney Motel 6. That rate was $74. The kids can also eat free at the Radisson... so since we are on a budget I decided on it instead. Please tell me if I made a mistake!!!
Is the Radisson a nice property? I just want a CLEAN room -- no bugs, funny smells or dirty sheets..a nice pool area for the kiddos.....and transportation to the parks to save on parking $$.
I tried getting the infamous $81 rate at the Swan through Hotwire but all that keeps coming up for my dates is the $69 rate at the Hilton. I stayed at the Hilton YEARS ago and it was nice, but really would rather get the Swan or Dolphin if I were to go through Hotwire!
Any advice is greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!!
