Hi - I'm not sure if this is the right board for an off-site hotel question, but here goes.......

We are going to WDW for 8 nights in early December. We're thinking to save $ we might stay 4 nights in an off-site hotel to be able to afford 4 nights at the BW.

We're considering the Radisson Resort Parkway - I've read a lot of good things but I wanted to hear from someone with first hand experience. We're not obsessed with amenities and activities, but we are obsessed with it being clean and well-maintained.

Any info. is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I have stayed there, but it was 4 or 5 years ago and found it ot be very nice. The resturant was not the best but the room was very nice and the place was very clean as well as close to Disney. Hope that helps a little... :)

I stayed at the Radisson Resort Parkway in 1997 and had a wonderful time there.
I've read from their website that they just renovated the rooms last year.
The pool is huge. There is a smaller, quiet pool, also. There are two hot tubs (one has a small
waterfall that spills into the hot tub).

They provided free transportation to WDW, SeaWorld, and Universal. If I can remember
correctly there was an early departure and a mid-morning departure.

The restaurant was good. They also provided Pizza Hut pizza. There was also a deli, a lounge, and an outside bar.

A small strip mall is located down the road (5 minutes) which contained a small "ma and pop"
grocery store.

Have a great time.

Hi, the Radisson Resort Parkway is a great hotel. However if your looking for a super clean hotel with lots of amenities and at a great price, you need to consider the Comfort Suites Maingate East. I recently stayed there and booked thru hotelmartusa.com, the rate was great for a room that sleeps 6 and has a refrigerator amd microwave. They just also won a big award for service and property standards

We will be spending 6 nights at the Radisson Resort Parkway. From everything I have read, it sounds wonderful. www.mousesavers.com/radisson.html has a great review of the place and considers this resort "considerably more upscale than the Disney moderate resorts and verging on equivilant to some of the Disney deluxe resorts". Also, The unofficial Guide to WDW has this resort ranked VERY high....higher than most of the Disney resorts. Thats all I need to hear and for $69 night...can't beat it. We are looking forward to our stay as it sounds like this resort offers alot for the price. Go for it!! You can't go wrong for the price!!
