Radisson Lake Buena Vista ??

We are planning to take a couple of days and relax, swim and shop before checking into BCV for 6 nights. I can get a great teacher rate at this hotel. We are not planning on going to the parks the days we would be staying here. It is close to the outlets and Downtown Disney. My kids loved hearing about the pool's 50 foot waterslide. Has anyone stayed here before? If so, would you please give me your thoughts and impressions of this hotel. Thanks.

We stayed there several years ago. The pool was nice and from what I remember the rooms were pretty good size. From what I have heard they have remodeled since we stayed there so I would imagine it is still nice. It is a good location, very close to Downtown Disney, lots of restaurants close by. I think there is a Outlet center just down the road (although I not sure exactly where) We would consider staying there again except our family has outgrown a standard room and we now prefer a suite or villa.

I stayed at the hotel for one night before moving to the Hilton which is across the street from DTD. It was a good clean room to stay in and my room also had a balcony which was great. The only problem I had was finding something to eat after checking in at 8:00pm and thinking their was a Pizza Hut onsite and only finding a bar and grille opened. Sorry I didn't get to see the pool. Their is a shopping center in walking distance to the hotel. Hooters, CiCi's Pizza and Domino's are three of the restaurants in the center. DTD is about 5-10 mins away from the Radisson depending on traffic. I could have walked to the Hilton from the Radisson but with luggage I opted to pay 6.00 for a shuttle.

Thanks for the info. If I can't get a good rate for a value resort, I'll probably book here.
